just use the uninstaller in the control panel. Most of that BS ware will go away with no challenges.

Agreed. Very rarely has pre-installed software not been listed in the standard Add/Remove programs list in the Control Panel (In Windows 7, this is Programs and Features.)

Just go through that list and you should be able to remove most anything that would not be needed.
