Victor, I hope that by now your Colorado is back up printing away.
We installed a Colorado M5 a few months back. if you ever need backup again, we are not too far from you in Houston.
We are not a wholesaler, but we will be happy to help out if need be, you never know when we will need backup...
The Canon M3 or M5 are in a different league price-wise, but the quality and speed seem to be fantastic
Cost of ink seems pretty interesting if you have the volume.
Geneva, we have a Latex flatbed r1000 and can reverse print directly to clear acrylic with Fantastic results.
Let me know if we can help you. We are in the north side of Houston.
can print up to 58 x118 on a 5x10n acrylic, then cut with our router.
Axel Krayer
Phototec, a few years back we had a similar issue. We printed printhead patterns and everything seemed OK with the printheads, until we realized that the problem was a Mislabeled cartridge that was Light Cyan instead of Cyan.
Double check that is not your case.
We use a lot of these from Expolinc.
Not the cheapest but by far the best and most durable we have found.

for more temporary use we cut them out of the same board, either 1/2" Infinity board or 1/2" Eagle cell. Make sure you cut openings on both...
We used to have an S50670 and changed to latex about 5 years ago, Never looked back! The difference in maintenance and NO Banding with Latex has made all the difference.
Even though Printheads are a consumable; the ability to replace them in snap is real plus. Downtime and ability to fix quality...
Rickey,
We've had our HP Latex r1000 Flatbed for almost 4 years now and the Quality and consistency on rigid boards as well as roll to roll has been really good. Absolutely NO banding.
Not the cheapest but Well worth the price for us.
We looked at Summa three years ago before buying our 5x10 Colex.
Have not regretted our decision at all. Both are good machines, but what made the difference for us was the level of the support team. I met personally with the owner of Colex in NJ and he is a very professional and honorable man...
What Machine do you have and what are the issues?
Post some pictures and I am sure we all might be able to give you some direction where to find the solution.
Hi Ken,
We have 3 HP's 360, 560 and an r1000 flatbed with White ink.
I do not have experience with the 700/800 series but I can tell you that in 2 years of owning the r1000, white has not been an issue whatsoever.
The 360 and the 560 have been extremely reliable. Personally I like the 560 much...
We've had our Seal 62 Pro since 2008 and it has been a workhorse ever since. We've had to replace the heating lamps once in all this time of use and we use daily.
Highly recommend it.
Have you tried CutGuru.com
They normally have bits and blades for several routers. I have purchased from them in the past for our Colex and have had good results.
I know you are trying to stay Positive and I appreciate that, I am trying as well, but I call that SCARY. The economy is not coming back if they keep this up for Long. Lack of traffic means lack of business.
We are staying somewhat busy with Floor Graphics and Signage for Hospitals but we are...
We've had our Colex for two years. No problems at all and very few issues have been resolved by support remotely.
I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
