Did you get this fixed? I have a 40600, had same issue. Was printer head. I replaced pump cap assembly, first hopeing that I would of gotten lucky. I am in NW ohio, I have the software to get into these machines to do the work properly per Epson.

You will want to leave on, Also do a nozzle check every couple days. I had one nozzle port go out on my M2. Printer worked great for a year, did a print a week ago following week went to print and M2 is all messed up. So have a new print head comeing.

Update #3: So replaced the Pump Cap Assembly; That did not do anyting. So seeing how now it is either going to be the head or Duct/CR asembly, I am going to remove the existing and soak it in ink cleaner and use a sirenge to suck back up anything in print head. As my M2 it seems to move around...
