I have, but I was hoping someone could tell me what part needs to be replaced. This thing is 7+ years old and I'm not interested in paying $3-4k to have a tech replace a simple part that's just on a counter or something like that.

I'm getting the following message on the screen: Maintenance Request Replace Part Now 00820100 I can't find anything regarding this code anywhere on the internet or the service manual. Has anyone come across this and had it resolved?

The issue we're having is with Onyx rotating the cut file without us knowing. I can't find a pattern, as it doesn't always do it, but it only occurs when we have Onyx add the cut path to the file in preflight. It also doesn't seem to matter which printer we use (flatbed, latex, solvent, etc)...

Don’t jump to replacing heads...$1,800 ain’t throwin’ around money when trying to fix your issue. First replace the ink and flush the magenta lines 2 or 3 times. Make sure your head is clean, and then check your nozzles.

What effect are you going for? If it’s opacity, you’ll need the white ink. If it’s backlit, there are backlit profiles from HP that should work. However, you can bump up the ink levels in your rip software (if your rip allows you to do so). But the most effective way to do what you’re asking...

As far as I know, they don’t make that part any more, and haven’t for quite some time. The seal rep I spoke with a while ago said it didn’t perform any better than the basket, and that if you needed better roll alignment you should use the linked core underneath and align it with the table out.
