  1. S80600 Replace Part Now

Finally got to the bottom of the code. It's hex with each number and position having a meaning. In this case, it involves the ink lines and ink cartridge retention system all being at end of life expectancy. Eventually the printer will stop printing due to that "life counter", regardless of...
  2. S80600 Replace Part Now

I have, but I was hoping someone could tell me what part needs to be replaced. This thing is 7+ years old and I'm not interested in paying $3-4k to have a tech replace a simple part that's just on a counter or something like that.
  3. S80600 Replace Part Now

I'm getting the following message on the screen: Maintenance Request Replace Part Now 00820100 I can't find anything regarding this code anywhere on the internet or the service manual. Has anyone come across this and had it resolved?
  4. Epson S80600 Circulation Pump

We have a specific message on the display: Maintenance Request Replace Parts Soon 00000400 This translates to the circulation pump according to a deep dive into error and maintenance messages.
  5. Epson S80600 Circulation Pump

We had an extended power outage over the weekend and most likely, our circulation pump needs replacing. Has anyone done this before? I assume I need some sort of tech software to perform tasks that the main display can't, like emptying and refilling the ink lines. What am I looking at for this...
  6. Onyx Thrive 19 and Zund

The issue we're having is with Onyx rotating the cut file without us knowing. I can't find a pattern, as it doesn't always do it, but it only occurs when we have Onyx add the cut path to the file in preflight. It also doesn't seem to matter which printer we use (flatbed, latex, solvent, etc)...
  7. Question Is my 360 a lemon, and should I buy another HP?

Thanks for all the responses. One of the reasons I like this place is that people take the time to respond thoughtfully. Given the mix of work we do, and the fact that we have a hybrid flatbed, I think UV roll to roll is out as an option for us. I guess my question is whether others have seen a...
  8. Question Is my 360 a lemon, and should I buy another HP?

Mainly media that’s receptive to its inks. We recently did a rush double-sided paper job for a customer, and we couldn’t get a paper product that was coated on both sides in time (without paying $400 freight). The latex print to the uncoated back side of our in stock product without quality...
  9. Question Is my 360 a lemon, and should I buy another HP?

We've had our latex 360 for almost 5 years now, and it's been a love hate relationship. At least twice a year it will go down for one thing or another, and that doesn't include the SMKs that have to be installed by a tech. Several plastic pieces are broken on various places on the printer, and...
  10. Need Help What material is this?

Can't seem to find it in any of my sample books from rowmark or the like, nor on any supplier websites. Anybody have a clue? Haven't seen it in person yet, but the customer says it's not metal, and "doesn't feel like it's painted."
  11. HP 360 has anyone used Counterweight kit?

We have UV flatbed, latex and solvent in our shop. The latex gets the most use because the media can be lammed and cut right away. (Roll to roll on our flatbed takes too long to set up in between rigid prints to make it worth while). Short run or long run, there isn’t any wait time once printing...
  12. HP 360 has anyone used Counterweight kit?

If you do paneled graphics, they help a lot (along with rotating every other panel 180*). It can cause the take up to shift side to side if you don’t load the media perfectly since it makes the dancer bar lighter. We found them invaluable when we had several wall and vehicle wraps over the...
  13. Need Help FB550 Magenta Overspray

Don’t jump to replacing heads...$1,800 ain’t throwin’ around money when trying to fix your issue. First replace the ink and flush the magenta lines 2 or 3 times. Make sure your head is clean, and then check your nozzles.
  14. HP FB750 Heavier coat of ink

What effect are you going for? If it’s opacity, you’ll need the white ink. If it’s backlit, there are backlit profiles from HP that should work. However, you can bump up the ink levels in your rip software (if your rip allows you to do so). But the most effective way to do what you’re asking...
  15. Seal laminator

As far as I know, they don’t make that part any more, and haven’t for quite some time. The seal rep I spoke with a while ago said it didn’t perform any better than the basket, and that if you needed better roll alignment you should use the linked core underneath and align it with the table out.
