    They seam to be money pits I wish the owners would but the machine is only 2 years old. I just got the Maintenance 3 done, Now the heaters for the curing died First 1 then another so after the second one I did them all. then the scan axis motor failed now the broken bag problem all within a month.

    HELP! HP Z6100 Broken Bag Recovery

    Same thing happened to me I had to get the maintenance3 done which was $1250 and then my curing fans went out then my scan axis motor and now I have a broken bag problem.

    I had a broken PIP Float SSI so I ordered it for $121 and replaced it but now I'm told that I have to buy the Broken bag kit for $842. This machine is a money pit. And the half hour to talk to a tech is insane. End rant

    Thanks but it was the y motor encoder. I changed the motor and the problem went away. The encoder strip is for print placement and the motor encoder is for head movement.

    As the head moves back and fourth printing it starts to travel in one direction more then the other till it starts hitting the stops

    I had the same problem. It is a bad head you need to replace it. because it just keeps getting worse as you run.

    Any head strikes? It looks like the faceplate is coming off the head in the corner. If it is you will need a new head.

    Loose connection I had a loose connection on 1 of my uv boards. But mine wouldn't even clean as soon as you turned it on it went right into alarm.

  15. Printing aluminum sign blanks with a flatbed

    If you use the Mimaki you have to use a cleaner / Primer or your ink will scratch off. You cant beat the Quailty for the print.
