The head carriage is not easily separated. The front shielding of the table can be removed but it only gives you minimal added clearance.

Manuals are no where near the same for the MKII.

Can you boot up into FW/Update mode? I would try reloading firmware and start simple by replacing the printer cable. I have seen odd things happen with poor data transmission.

When you do a nozzle test does the print look identical each time or do the missing nozzles fluctuate? By the way damper replacement is super easy and I have walked our most novice customers through this process very easily don't let these people scare you.

You used to be able to buy the UV lamp components separately but since the release of the MKII they now only sell as a full assembly which is crazy. I do have an oem unit in stock for less than $1000 if you want to message me.
