I've also tested all overpass numbers and Bi/Uni Direction , going through different profiles and different temps of the printer. All giving the same grainy effect, so something just can't be calibrated right .
Ahhh Ok I was hoping that wasn't the case, but good news I guess. I've attached a picture of the last design and just compared before the head swap seems so much more grainy .
I've played around with Maps aswell , which didn't help, just took longer to print :p .
I posted in another category, but this one seems better suited, so I'll delete the other.

Hi everyone …
I’m back . Ok new head installed , but I’m getting grainy prints . Done all the config with drop and feed in the service menu and normal menu . But I think the slant needs adjusting . Does this look correct after averaging 34 adjust ?
Thank again everyone !
Hi
Thanks for the reply
Feed comp and droplet adjust have been calibrated and look good. With MYK there no banding whatsoever, only in Cyan which is so weird, as issues like that would be affecting all colors .... Maybe. I'll attach a couple of pics to show my testing with it all.
Here's an update from the weekend.
Gave a good clean down of the encoder strip, and a little bit of dust come off, but no ink I could see was on there.
I've swapped the dampers around and the nozzle deflections are still there, but cyan going through the black it perfect now. So I think the...
Hi Every one
Currently having a bit of a weird issue with my Cyan, It looks like deflection but has just started happening for no reason ,no head strikes or anything .
The machine is about 2 years old, running jet best inks.
Things I've tried :
I've changed the cap top and done a good clean...
That's pretty much the solution I come up with as well :). I make a row of circles and slow it down to 1 speed, then adjust the blade length, so it's just piercing the vinyl and backing.
My only issue is the fluffy edges. I've just purchased a cb15 blade holder and the 1.5 mm blade should make...
I got a new FC9000 and I'm trying to do a clean perf cuts . I've tried everything that is on this group, and I just keep getting fuzzy backing paper. Currently, using Grafityp vinyl and I think it's this. What vinyl is everyone using to get a good clean cut ( including backing paper) ?
Thanks...
Hi Everyone .
I want to start saving jobs straight to versaworks to skip a step. Where are the Hot folders located ? I've looked all through Versawork folders, but can't seem to locate the folders.
Thanks in advance :).
I Die-cut a lot and I have the cheap Chinese strip which isn't a problem, but I honestly think I can design and make a fast swap track, so I can swap them over quickly from Cutting strip to Perf groove ( in my head it will work ) .
I'm going to experiment and engineer an attachment :).
I just need to know if there's anything special with the Graphtec channel or the blade holder, as I don't have one to see ? If there's nothing special with these apart from its just a small gap, then perfect :).
