the way mine its been working with my rigid vinyl is to load the vinyl till sticks out, and my vac its set to 90, before that i had nothing but issues crashing or striking the material.
i had 2 and both had a lot of issues, tech was at the shop at least twice a month to fix something all the time, great print quality but i am much happier running latex printers now.
i had ordered, feather flags, backdrops w stands, huge banners and no issues, now i even order retractable banners from them, for the price no sense on making em in house unless its a fast turn around.
Hello Everyone,
just wondering if any HP users have had this problem or could tell me what is it related to. the machine is under warranty but just wanted to pick you guys/gals brains.
I ran 3 banners 13oz, the first 2 came out fine no issues but the 3rd one as you can see something happened...
i get something like it if the media profile i select doesn't like the type of vinyl i use. usually with gloss poster paper if i select HP Photo paper it does something similar.
yeah i had a customer in December in chicago that wanted me to install vinyl on his windows, i told him it was too cold but he insisted that i use a heat gun to warm up the glass, i told him no thank you. besides its too cold for the vinyl it will eventually fail.
can you show us a sample of the graphics you are installing? can you use regular color cut vinyl? that would be the best for cut letters and you would install wet and use transfer tape. I don't install under 40*
so the stuff they currently have there is window cling material, and it literally its falling apart just by looking at it, they had that stuff there for years, the picture shows a home and the tv is the old school big boxie tv.
yes i think I'm going this route. i do have a laminator. if job gets approved i will contact you for pricing on the WindowTac for sure.
thank you for the reply!!!
Hello Everyone,
I have a customer that wants me to replace the graphics they currently have, (pic attached for ref)
what's there right now feels like a window cling mounted on the inside of the windows, not sure how long its been there as its falling to pieces if you touch it.
so my question is...
