I Ctrl click the layer and it selects whatever is there like always - not transparent but any pixels or text - whatever is on the layer I have PhotoshopCS not CS2 though - are you asking about CS2 ?

I have never used the bridge programs and cut straight from illy or corel - I guess there are features that the co cut does that the native software can't? Just wondering if you have tried cutting straight from Corel. Steve

I have a CX 24 and have had zero trouble from it - it is the only one I have ever used so can't compare. The optical registration works well for some of the transfers I do. I got a package deal with vinyl etc for $1300 last year. Steve
