I cut right out of AI with no other program. The only issue I have and haven't been able to understand is the cutting order - no matter how I create or place ganged images it cuts them in what seems to be a random order - I believe programs like CoCut will allow you to specify the order things...
as mentioned - you have to seal the edges unless you kiss cut it with a laser - I spoke to several twill MFG at one of the ISS shows and asked about the Roland - they said it would work but not the best and not recomended - in foact no roll cutter was recomended, they did not say they would not...

you can to roland so probably - best bet is to try it - see if graphtec has any support/drivers if it doesn't show up in corel - my roland custs right out of corel and AI

search and replace ion Corel - just like a word search and replace but Corel lets you use fill or stroke or fountain etc color - search for the black and replace it with grey -
Definitely subject - although I know most folks going to your site looking will know the difference, in an illustration, cartoon, etc many will not and most won't care - I rarely look for an illustration but rather look for a house or lion or whatever - then sift through the different types...

I used Doug's as an example and got a decent look but it was for a T-shirt so much smaller and was able to do it at 150 ppi - you probably need vector or 300ppi at size for a car/truck although the examples look like models? if...
In cutting with Corel - you have to make sure there is a cut path - or outline - to every line. Just because it's in Corel doesn't mean it's vector or has lines the cutter can "see" to cut. Also if it wasn't created to cut you will likely have overlapping lines or non continuous sections etc -...
