Your right, but why would the captops have anything to do with just the black since the head on this printer has all of the channels, 1 cap for all ? wouldnt I see the issues on the other channels ?

UPDATE - SELF TECH ERROR ( ME) one of the ribbons on the print head was inverted, but in the right slot, luckily nothing got fried. I am still where i started however with my black dropping out. I have attached the new test print after the black damper was changed.
