ok, thanks for the head up. Do you have any ideas what a fix might be? Also, why would the magenta be seen in a jpg image that is black in white. Is the print head using cyan and magenta to get the gray's.. doesnt make sense?

Here are some of my test.

I am trying to resolve an issue. I have a vs-540 and i have been getting progressively worst magenta tint to all of my prints. This only happens when printing in standard mode. If I print in high quality the print is fine, but we are talking about 9 minutes to print compared to 24 minutes...

TO add further into this damn nightmare of an issue which only happens after hours and when printer is needed. The issue appeared to have resolved itself couple of hours later. I had another color go out after i replaced it showed full and the magenta once agains shows empty. I pull magenta out...

When going to the ink level setting on the printer. without a cartridge in it shows full. I place the cartridge in, it starts beeping and i cant control anything.

Update, when the cartridge is removed. the printer goes back into normal state ready to print. When the cartridge is inserted back in the printer shows out of ink, beeps and wont allow me to do anything.

Anyone have any tips ?? Ive tried swapping the chip with a used cartridge. I have taken the cartridge out and put a brand new one in. Now it is still giving me an empty message on printer. I cannot do anything and have jobs pending!! Any help would be appreciated .

Does anyone know how to get around this. The printer is asking me to change the cartridge when the cartridge is actually half full. Any ideas how to reset this and keep printing ?
