I own a newer version of your machine which is CJV150
Here are some of problems i see:
- registration mark is too close to the edge of the media
- the marks are inside the graphic (remember that cutter will only cut before registration mark placement, check rasterlink manual)
- you need to put...
Nice thread, this also happens to me occasionally. Is there a resource or if anyone can share a sample contract form that i can have my customer sign as an agreement for making logo or redesigning a logo. As some would argue that is not what they want and they will not pay for it. Thanks
I think an optically clear mounting film would work, the one that they use to mount photos in acrylic mounts. Just use a good pressure in your laminator. I used these when mounting photo print in reverse to an acrylic sheet for photographers. Mactac permacolor 2100 series
we also keep it to 16pass and 24 pass. we found that the amount of ink used is similar regardless of passes. more pass the better ink absorption time for your vinyl.

I am a corel guy and my exports with or w/o reg marks are cutting perfect but when i tried to use AI and export from AI and the cuts are very much regardless if i add the marks in AI or rasterlink.

water
I would think that the plastic bag would keep humidity and not affect the stretch unless there is a silica gel inside. but if they stored it in the furnace room possible culprit as this will be a very dry room.

I have a CJV150 and it is located in a specific room on its own. basically if you print full coverage you would not be able to work beside it in an enclosed area.

Sponge in the Capping station
I have had some ink strikes similar to this on my CJV 150 and it appears that the sponge in the capping station is full of gunk and the gunk was transferring to the plate of the print head carriage then drips/strikes on the media.
If the print was similar but not...

Outsource
We once have designed a 10 page menu in 20 copies, and then we sent the print to a print shop that has a dry toner printer and have it printed in a 100 lb cover stock then cut to size using stack paper cutter. The client have their own folder with sleeves so no need to laminate the...
