That usually happens on CMYK inkset. if your inkset has light black inks your gray colors will be much better.

Once you cut on the flute, if you have access to a guillotine/stack paper cutter it works very well. I use this when ever i have to do yard signs etc.

I think an optically clear mounting film would work, the one that they use to mount photos in acrylic mounts. Just use a good pressure in your laminator. I used these when mounting photo print in reverse to an acrylic sheet for photographers. Mactac permacolor 2100 series

we also keep it to 16pass and 24 pass. we found that the amount of ink used is similar regardless of passes. more pass the better ink absorption time for your vinyl.

We use the Oracal 3651 profile and the mimaki gpvc. Works very well including pantone call outs I use ss21 inks as well

Illustrator I am a corel guy and my exports with or w/o reg marks are cutting perfect but when i tried to use AI and export from AI and the cuts are very much regardless if i add the marks in AI or rasterlink.
