Did you update your version to 9.1 or 9.2? Perhaps check your drivers? I had an issue when I updated to 9.2 but didn't update the drivers. I had the same error, I updated the drivers to the same version, 9.2 and my issue went away...

Did you replace the damper line O-ring when the damper was replaced? Also, sometimes the tube that connects the dampers to the print head can be bad. Look for air in the line just prior to the damper after the printer has been idle for a while.

I've had the issue with the same type of media. I'll cover the optical eye to resolve the problem, but DO NOT forget about it and run a roll out and dump ink everywhere. Not that I've done that, lol.

Are you running OEM or aftermarket ink? Cartridge or bulk tank? I had that problem when I switched to a bulk system because of too much pressure. It would push ink out of the head. Could also be a damper issue, when were they changed out last?

Panofilm for the win. Use 2-3 rolls per month, and apply a thin strip of permanent/re-useable tape on the edges. Pano-tape is also a viable option, but it does not adhere as well.
