Have you already ordered to have the tech come out. If not let me know I had a simialr problem with my falcon outdoor, and had a tech from Calgraph come out who gave me several usefull tips on how to fix the problem if it were to occur again.

I know on the Falcon 48" you have to tell it twice the bottle is empty. When it asks arrow to say yes, then it ask to confirm, arrow again to say yes

I would recomend before doing a complete overhaul of ther printer try the small things first. If the ink is still in the lines try a few power clean cycles, who knows you may get lucky and that is all it needs. Most likly that won't happen. Then try cleaning the lines with the cleaning fluid...

I would start with the maintainice station. The pump, capping station, waste lines.

your right in Illustrator 10 there is no chain link. However in the the transform pallette after you type in the size of either the width or the height hold ctrl and hit enter and it should size it proportionally.
