So...if you have used any of these do you know what is closest to the actual Fathead?
I never felt a fathead, lol...OK feel free to enjoy that for a while.
But seriously what is the closest, is it more vinyl or fabric, and does anyone dislike the Orajet 3268?
OK so I posted about this a few years back and just wondering if there have been any changes.
I searched the forum but was wondering are there any updates, anything new that has come out?
I am looking for the closest material to Fathead.
I tried Orajet 3268 think it is not too bad, the only...
Thanks,
So, you contour cut through your cutter, or by hand?
I have something so detailed I can't see cutting by hand, so I contour cut through my cutter.
I got it from Harbor as well.
So, this is the first time I have used Gatorfoam.
I designed some signs and sent the cut files to the cutshop.
I printed out the contour cut logos to go onto the contour cut foam, but I have to be honest, I have no idea how to line it up to apply to Gatorfoam.
Any suggestions?
Great, I actually have the swiffer duster, so good for me...plus now at least I have something to use it for since I always "forget" to dust the house.
Thanks for the responses, do any of you actually have pets in the shop?
I just feel when I run the dryer sheet over, it doesn't always pick it up, sometimes I may just be moving it around.
OK, let me start with I have 2 dogs in my shop and ask that you please refrain from the "dogs don't belong in a shop or "get rid of the dogs" comments.
Thank you in advance if you have enough self-control for that, lol.
I obviously run into my prints getting a hair or two on them.
I have been...
I stumbled upon this a week ago and have really been looking into it.
I think this is a pretty great plugin for Corel.
I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with it, or if they have something else they choose over it.
Thanks!
Wow, well first time I tried this it worked, I will let you know if it was just luck but don't think so.
Thanks, and especially thanks for posting the pic.
Thanks EVERYONE who answered!
Very interesting, looking forward to pic.
Are you saying you don't even bother positioning the knife over the dot?
I want to run a test but too busy today, hopefully tomorrow.
Thanks to ALL!
OK well two things, I always put the knife over the exact middle of the dot not on the edge, I had no idea it went on the edge so I will try that.
Does anyone else put it in the middle of the dot?
Also, I center the media...a lot, so I will stop that as well.
Will let you know.
THANKS!
I have been dealing with this for too long.
When I go to cut after print it takes like 4 times of not finding the registration dot to finally get it to find it.
I have tried base point on/off
Shining a light (works a decent amount of times but not enough).
Has anyone had this problem, it is so...
I am using Versaworks and I am doing a personal project.
I am making some canvas wall art where it is one picture split into 4 different frames.
I want the pictures to be continuous so I know in VW I can overlap, but that overlaps all pieces except the far left corner (beginning) and the end...
I have a Versacamm SP540V, but I read on here enough that it is not recommended to use it to contour cut magnet material (does everyone still agree?)
So, any advice for magnets that need to be contour cut in a quantity less than 25?
They would be approximately 4"x 5" in the shape of a cloud...
Sometimes I spend a little too much time making sure my graphic is straight on a window. It doesn't help I will admit I don't have a great eye to line up just on sight alone.
I am thinking there is a method (probably pretty simple) that I should be aware of.
If it is nice squared or text...
