  1. Do you have a dog in your shop?

Well thanks for the comments, I am glad I am not alone, BUT, any suggestions to the issues I mentioned? Thanks. And as for the haters...let them hate, it is my good will towards man to give them something to feel important about, lol.
  2. Do you have a dog in your shop?

OK, maybe a sign shop is not the best place for a pet, but bottom line is, my dog is around here a lot. My question is, I am the only one? If not, any recommendations for making sure my prints are totally free of dog hair? I sweep, use a fabric softner to go over the print before it is laminated...

  5. Question about DPI...

I am debating, should I laminate? It is for my living room? Also, horizontal is the way to go, right? I mean I won't be able to hide the seam(s) either way I just thought horizontal (1 seam) is better than vertical (so close to 2 pcs, but it is 3) not sure which way seam would look less worse...
  6. Question about DPI...

Thanks, I just purchased it, I blew it up (leaving it at 300 DPI) and checked it out in PS and at print size I think it looks pretty great. I am going to crop a portion and test print at actual size. Thanks!
  7. Question about DPI...

This was the pic if anyone has a site that may have something close. thanks.
  8. Question about DPI...

OK, I figured I was screwed. Thanks.
  9. Question about DPI...

I wanted to cover a wall in my living room and it measures 114" x 87" it is very difficult to find the graphic I want, that big. If I bought a design from a vendor online that was... 3345 x 2675 (8.9 MP) 11.2 '' x 8.9 '' (300 dpi) Would that look terrible to increase to my wall size? Thanks...
  10. Question about finishing BANNERS...

Well I don't know if you have any connections are not, just looked like you were promoting it, which I really don't care, just poking fun, but I still don't see how that had anything to do with my post, my issue is the wrinkles the tape leaves all along the finished sides, nothing about it...
  11. Question about finishing BANNERS...

    Hmmm, that's a new one to me....interesting.
  12. Question about finishing BANNERS...

I think it was obvious that does not have anything to do with what I was looking for, but nice plug. :clapping:
  13. Question about finishing BANNERS...

Well, I did not know about the cement, I will look into that. Question, for those who sell banners on the regular, a customer comes in for a 3' x 6' do you offer options on how to finish? I have always just taped it and the only time I would pay someone to sew it is if the customer asked. I...
  14. Roland SP540V cutter blade, suggestions?

Do some people switch their blades depending on what they are cutting? The main things I do are solvent printable heat transfers for T-Shirts (thin material, more detailed cutting) and let's say contour cut laminated stickers or vehicle wrap vinyl.
  15. Roland SP540V cutter blade, suggestions?

Yes, I have a 45 degree. So where do you get yours?
  16. Question about finishing BANNERS...

I was wondering if there is another alternative to finishing banners. Right now I use double stick tape, but I do not like the wrinkles that get in there when you roll it up. I know I can pay someone to hem it, but that is too pricey, is there an option I am missing, or am I doing something...
  17. Roland SP540V cutter blade, suggestions?

thanks, I see they sell different degrees, but most people I know get 45, what is up with the other ones, are they for something special?
  18. Roland SP540V cutter blade, suggestions?

Just curious where some of you get your contour cutting blade? I got mine from Fellers, I am not sure how many different manufacturers there are but I swear my blades do not last long enough for the little amount of cutting I do. Can someone suggest a blade that they have actually noticed was...
  19. cut line around a bitmap?

Thanks everyone, it was actually created in PS, not in a vector program, otherwise I would never have needed to post, lol. I love "graphic designers" who create logos purely in Photoshop...ugh! Anyway, all done, used Colorado's file tweaked it and done. Thanks!
  20. cut line around a bitmap?

Well, didn't want to start a fight, lol...I think it was extremely nice for Colorado to actually attach that file, thank you. I do need it to be pretty perfect, so I will edit in corel with node editor to get those lines pulled in a little so no white shows, but I have a huge head start now. I...
