You are not responsible for natural occurances of weather. You simply have a client with the "you touched it last" syndrome. He should have had insurance on his sign. Throw it all back in his face and tell him to Bring it, nothing will happen trust me.
gotta keep the edges close to a flat surface while cutting especially on 3 mil material. I use a bi metal blade and go slow. After jigsaw it time to smooth it out with palm sander or belt sander keeping it straight and light. I prefer a router hands down BUT sometimes you have those one off...
if you go the banner route signs2trade offer an 8oz banner that would be perfect for this installation, you have to message them about this weight though
if you are doing interior never use gloss, we keep everything satin, interior and exterior. sheen does not matter when using mask as we always pull our mask off wet and always use foam rollers
I get my vinyl from 2 sources https://www.signoutletstore.com or https://uscutter.com
vinyl on certain colors has been a fuss to get lately. As far as price for this I would need to see a layout

I use BEHR paints for all of my painting, exterior satin

You are going to have to be the low bidder to get these jobs, is that what you want to be? Do you want to waste countless hours bidding stuff only to not get the job. Pick somehting else more productive
if you are referring to the red white and blue "state" signs send a 4x8 thru a flatbed have it printed and put it up on .5" coroplast TRUST ME nobody cares about these 75 year old BS spec signs. And YES Ive done a few that way
if its porcelained and old your trying to drill thru old pot metal I bet, that gonna wear some bits out. Might wanna try some new harbor freight bits (to save money) and put drill on hammer function
back to the original subject I have a 30" plotter. I did have trucks and got rid of them. I sub out all digital printing and anything done on router or flatbed. Dont want all that stuff its easier to let someone else worry about issues with equipment
It may be because Im a lazy a$$ but I had to read your comment 3 times before understanding what exactly you were getting at....Im still not sure Im grasping. As far as Gemini NOT allowing you to become a reseller since you have cut dimensional letter makes absolutely no sense at all. I would...
It is frustrating but just move on and do not concern yourself with losing bids. Trust me it does not matter in the long run. Keep moving forward and doing what you do and dont worry about others it will mentally exhaust you
