With theese compression dampers on the jv33 is it enough to take a syringe and suck ink from its buttom to prime them before attaching them to the printhead, Then just do a fill up ink ? i Am going to replace all my dampers, Or is it better to just change to new ones and then open the valves...

How do you suggest we should prime the damper before replacement then?

Do you menan the calibration that first prints blue squares and then cuts one ? If you are meaning this one then i problably alredy have the latest firmware and that i have no clue what the problem is :(

A good rule when you are having ink problems is that ALWAYS first test the less extensive things , Damper,Capping etc

A good adwise when you get it going again is to set the sleep clean funktion on if it is off, You can set an interval to the cleaning so when you leave the machine for a month next time you wont have so much trouble ..if any at all But remember to just turn off the printer by the green on/off...

i have the same problem with streaking, Mostly visible on blue and green . it is just like every 8th pass gets lighter than the other passes
