I don't often ask for font ID help since I'm usually pretty good at identifying the things for myself, but this one just has me drawing a blank. The attached sample is what I used at MyFonts "What the Font" tool (didn't have any luck there). And it's bugging me because I think I've even used it...
I've been looking through the documentation on our new Roland VP-540 printer and trying to find some info about cut settings for different kinds of material.
The default setting in the printer works great for basic print/cut operations. But I can't get a clear answer on what force setting works...
I don't know how many others in this forum use the Seal 54Base 54" laminator. I'm looking for tips on how best to use this machine in regards to its very sensitive safety sensors ahead of the rollers.
This is a really good lamination machine, but if a print lifts up at all as it is being fed...
Looking for advice from other Roland VersaCamm owners, particularly those who use the new VP-540.
I'm trying to find a solution for getting proper looking prints on 3M 180C Controltac material when printing to it with our new 54" Roland VersaCamm VP-540 printer.
The printer works great on a...
I'm a little frustrated trying to figure out the identity of the script "R" in the attached JPEG image. The customer provided sample is cropped, making the ID a little more tricky. I know I have seen this font before, but the ID just isn't coming to me. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I have been trying to figure out the identity of the script used on the attached photo (vinyl door glass graphics).
I've already gone through the MyFonts "what the font" utility and scanned through several type specimen books and can't come up with anything to match. What's nagging me worse...
A friend of mine sent me the image attached to this note, asking for a font ID. It looks very familiar, but strangely enough I cannot figure out exactly what font was used to create it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Usually I am very good at identifying fonts, but I am completely stumped on this one: (image attached; scan of a black and white laser printed page...apologies).
We're going to have to do some refurbishment work on the existing sign shown in the photo, possibly making new letters and a good...
I've waited and waited for Corel's tech support people to get back to me on this problem and haven't had any luck with the CorelX3 Usenet newsgroup either. So I'll try here to see if anyone has had this problem:
Currently, CorelDRAW X3 is "dead" on my computer. I cannot get the application to...
I'm considering updating the Highway Gothic fonts I have with newer, more authentic versions. I would prefer the exact version of Series 2000 Gothic used in the 2003 MUTCD pdf manuals. It would be nice to be able to open up a page of the SHS pdf book in Illustrator and not have the type get...
Normally I'm pretty good with indentifying fonts, even those imitations of hand brush lettering. This one has me stumped. I'm sure I've seen it before; I just can't remember it.
It isn't Arab Brushstroke, Impress, Impuls or Parade. TIA.
I'm trying to recall the identity of this font, but it escapes me. I was watching a 720p HD quality Quicktime file of the movie trailer (downloaded from Apple's Quicktime HD Gallery) and just found myself wondering, "what in the world is that typeface?"
Here's a bit of a head-scratcher for those into font ID riddles. I received this pretty low quality sample from a business card, via fax, from a customer today. Having a bit of trouble figuring out the ID of the font.
Obviously the script has been very horribly squeezed. Pretty inhumane act of...
I'm sure some of you remember my recent posts showing off the high quality of Adobe Illustrator's path offset and outline stroke effects (particularly in comparison with similar effects in CorelDRAW). I still use Corel for a great deal of sign design work, but I bring a lot of Corel-generated...
I don't know if there are any Freehand users on this forum, particularly any with knowledge of a peculiar problem I am having to troubleshoot. Not many people use Freehand, but I still like firing it up to do some nice color printing work since it has a fantastic print engine.
I loaded Freehand...
This is an odd script I can't quite place. It looks familiar but the identification of it escapes me. The "What The Font" utility at My Fonts.com came up empty.
I have a hunch "Trinity" is actually made up using two different typefaces.
I'm currently working through a couple designs so it may be at least another couple hours before I try installing CorelDRAW 12 on this new Dell 9100 PC I hooked together yesterday.
Anyway, I wanted to ask any CorelDRAW 12 users out there if the upgrade has an activation scheme similar to that...
I've been rummaging through the knowledge base at the Corel website and not been making much progress, so I figured I would also ask here.
I just set up a new Dell Dimension 9100 PC running WindowsXP Pro SP2. CorelDRAW 9 has problems running under the thing. On occaision when I hit the...
Don't know how many in this forum deal with LED-based electronic message centers. But the Coldplay music video for "Speed of Sound" is really pretty cool for the huge RGB LED display that seems to resemble a big curved and louvered CinemaScope screen. The whole video almost seems like a showcase...
I know I've seen this font somewhere before, but just can't seem to find out what it is. I've tried using Identifont and the 'What the Font?" tools at the My Fonts website, but haven't found a match. Has anyone here seen this one before? The uppercase "V" is pretty unique.
Note, I had to do a...
