  1. Best Practices for Protecting 4x8 Substrates During Customer Pickup

What about cardboard boxes? When I order foamcore, my supplier will deliver it in a massive 48"x96" x8" cardboard box, I'm sure it's not cheap, but I sounds like it would work and also have a professional presentation for the client.
  2. Best Practices for Protecting 4x8 Substrates During Customer Pickup

Yup, the guy who comes to pick up a 4x8 foamcore sign, either in a pickup without a cap and a bunch of tools freely rolling around the bed, or a guy in a Rav 4 that insists it will fit...

Aslan makes some nice polyester films, they are based in Germany, might be an option
  4. Understanding vinyl durability

The vinyl would shrink back from the edges of the acrylic quite a bit, also the acrylic blocks some uv, not all, so it would start to crack and yellow at some point. If you are going to the expense and time of reverse mounting on acrylic, spend the extra couple bucks on good vinyl.

  6. Summa + Manual barcodes

As far as I know, there is no native way to do this with any summa plug-in. I have to ask though, why not just set your page length in onyx to 10' and let onyx handle it? Is there some benefit to doing it manually I'm not seeing? Onyx will do this with 3 clicks of the mouse.

We were inserting beads by hand, you are the first person I've heard of that has not had issues with the auto inserter either jamming or not quite aligning with every hole and not working 100% plus since we always had to drill the holes 2x, I'm not sure how the auto inserter would fit into that...
  10. Good Alternates to ShopVox Shop Management software

From what i've read the main issues are the ever increasing cost and a lot of users feel like shopvox is not implementing meaningful updates / changes and instead are focusing on rolling out changes no one asked for. I ended up having something made for me in Filemaker by a developer,, cost me...

  12. Mutoh XPJ661UF - ADA sign printing

I've been using the Quill system for about 8 months now, I'm pretty sure I'm the first customer in Canada! We used to use the Raster system for years, and while it works, its slow and labour intensive, we always found that you would need to drill the holes twice, because if any little spec of...
