Hmmm Id never pay a tech more just so I could watch or help. Most of them enjoy getting to talked to and appreciate the help. Their pay isn’t going to change based on how close you monitor them. I ask for updates and what they’re doing. If they’re on the clock at those rates I like to know...
AGFA is $1500 flat travel fee and $275 an hour. OCE has local techs but if you're not on a service agreement they are $315 an hour. I agree it's too expensive, especially when they seem to tinker trying to figure out the problem.
We do all the service ourselves on the AGFA machines. The...
We have flatbeds here as well. Most of my profiling experiences is with flatbeds and UV ink. Onyx does a great job with profiling for those.
But flatbed printing is totally different than dye-sub. Epson edge print is pretty limited and there are only 2 other options which yield similar results.
Here’s an example of the color differences. The one on the left is the sublimation panel and the one on the right is a laser print on regular paper which is within reason of the screen. Which I would be totally happy with if the panel turned out like that. And the photo actually made the gray...

All of my prints tend to shift to the green side. Light Blue/Blue always turns out teal. Grays tend to have the wretched green tone. Reds and Yellows turn out awesome. Unfortunately Epson...
I think he meant 7 boards an hour. Which would make sense if there was one row of Ricoh Gen 5 heads.
I think the only machine that could print that fast is the Nozomi. And that would be slow. That thing will do a board every few seconds.

Here are a few flatbeds to take a look at: Agfa Mira, Anapurna Series Hybrid Printers, Digitech, Vanguard, Canon/Oce Arizona (Not my favorite machine though. Had one for 2 years and got rid of it. Replaced with an AGFA Titan and will never look back or get another Canon.) None of these are...
Stouse has them full color front and back.

Yah I'm thinking you're going to need a few heads. At least you have Gen 4 which means you're only replacing the colors you need and they're only about $1,000. On the Gen 5 you usually only need to replace one head but they're joined together and they're $2,000 if you buy them through...
You're not going to be able to get rid of banding with those nozzle tests. Black is bad. That row of yellow nozzles that is out is definitely killing the gray tones. Also, it looks like your left and right are off.
Make sure you have nozzle replacement on. I have the Gen 4 heads on a 1224 HDC...
I think it also has something to do with UPS My Choice. You can find it you just have to click on the dumb tracking number to go through 3 pages instead of going right to it like it did before when you got an email notification.
It's called shipping progress now.
Traditionally called track sign
+1 for Siffron. https://siffron.com/6-track-sign-channel (This isn't exact but might work)

Thanks for the responses. I've downloaded packlib but it's not letting me create a user. I have an email out to them.
I like the template maker. I might use that for some future projects but it doesn't have a simple shipping box which is what I'm after.
