we are not using mac's..... digital art is the ones that are telling me it has to be a dedicated print server computer, they claim it will not work even passing through a print server router maybe i was venting a little earlier, but beyond pissed over this one, within four hours i was told it...

Anyone know how to get CoCut standard to cut through a print server using TCP/IP? in the setup menu it says that i need cocut pro, but really this does nothing for me paying 400 more just to do this, pro version doesn't have anything in it that standard doesn't do for me already, i design...

your right, matt at advantage rocks!! rasterlink comes with the mimaki printer, it is bundled with it from japan, at least ours was, when we bought our equipment, we opted for onyx and we now have both we hated onyx at first, and actually was using rasterlink because it is very user friendly...

when we upgraded to corel x3, we noticed the cutcontour was case specific, we are not using versaworks, but for our systems and in corel we had to change it from cutcontour to CutContour, weird but solved our problem

also think about the cost of the wipers, cleaning solution, swabs, maintenance time etc......it all adds up quick personally i don't think you should ever consider it costs you less than $1 a sq foot without the media

check into HSA's, if you rarely go to the doc, and can stand to have a higher deductible, its the way to go, plus you can get your money back if you need to and it don't go to some guys 20,000 sq ft ranch we finally got hooked up with it, pay 80 bucks a month for the insurance with the 3500...

sounds like a faulty sensor, should be fairly simple to install a new one although don't know prices of them in the first place, you might call a tech and see what they say

we use corel x3, and when we go to print we export the file as an eps file and then open it in onyx to RIP one thing i have noticed lately is if there are gradient fills in the text, when it opens in onyx, the gradient color is gone and is just a solid color anyone know if there is a setting...
