Quite some time ago, I saw a machine that what kinda a laminator but it was manual and designed to mount premask or mount vinyl on boards. I'm looking for a second machine just do to that and keep ma laminating machine just for that. The name was EZ taping or something like that. I've googled...
Thanks Phil! If I have a longer usb cable, does it still work? My current cable is around 20ft and have a ''booster/repeater'' in the middle.
Also, I've tried to found informations and video about the take-up. Can you tell me more about this option?
Thanks.
So I'm considering the idea to upgrade my summa D160R to a S2T class. I'm wondering if I should take the opus-cam or not. My rep told me it has a better reading, but what that mean in the real world? Does it really have a benefits?
Oh! and I'm considering the take-up also for longer runs. Does...
I think I'm in the same boat as you. I currently run an HP260. our main problems is with the three things mentioned in my first post. We often print murals without using the take-up. We cut and trim the panels on the fly. On a 10ft print, I can loose up to 2inches and color consistency is a...
Almost all 3D logos I sell goes in the lobby or reception of the offices. The only picture I have right now is too far away. But I've asked one of my customers to send me some photos and if they have the time, the prices and specifications of them.
Does anyone run the new HP W800 for a while now in a production environnement? I'm looking for feedbacks. We are mainly making murals and window decals. But we start to have a higher demand in small cut stickers. Our main concerns are print color consistancy, size accuracy and grains in the...
The majority of my customers are interior designers and architect. When we are asked to make a 3D logo, we use gemini or one of our vendor and they make them of acrylic.
Now, I see more an more logo made of MDF by cabinetmakers. I actually nerver saw one in person, but from the pictures I've...
Is there any print process that will make prints on coroplast last over than 5 years, ideally 10 years outdoor? If coroplast is the problem, I need something that is between 3mm and 6mm thick and lightweight. Would also need to be light scratch resistant (like ice in the winter).
So I'm having thoses waves printing on a brand new roll of banner with my HP L260. I don't have any problem with other material except this roll of banner. I saw this before on the forum, but I don't remember what is it and/or what is the cause.
A friend of mine have a four years old Jeti Mira 2716 HS with two rows of print heads (6 colors+white+primer) and roll-to-roll. He said the machine is ''too much'' for him. Honestly, it's too much for me either. I was looking for something more in the entry level and it will be my first flatbed...
I don't have any design yet and did not present this to my customer yet. But If you have the opportunity to make some test with text printed on clear, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
got it! I saw it in the software. I was just hopping to get the color. I don't have any transparent foil and the job is not big enouph to justify buying a cartidge.
What if I print red on a reflective vinyl or silver vinyl? Does the red foils is too opaque to let the reflective/silver shining...
I have a gerber edge II with omega 6. I've never use the spectratone or combine color. I would like to create someking of a red mettalic color. Can I match silver with a red to acheive this? If yes, how to I proceed in the software?
Thanks.
If you want something cheaper, I've got a vendor that have a white or black shrink sleeve for 4x4 post. You put it over the post and you shrik it with a heat gun. I've never tried it tho and I'm a bit sceptical on the durability.
I've got a HDU sign that I need to fix to a 8ft post and this post will be bolt in concrete. I need something ''pretty'' and square. Does anyone have a source in Canada, preferably in the Montreal area?
Thank you.
