  1. Printing Translucent to keep the reflective.

How would reflective vinyl burn out print heads? I've never heard such a thing.
  2. Grimlite

Yeah no kiddin'. Could've just said "effective immediately blah blah blah" instead of sounding whiny. Clearly it's a big blow to them and they're not happy about it, but still.
  3. Am I the only one seeing all these junk posts?

Thanks Paul. Good to have things back to normal around here!
  4. This forum is drowning in

Same. I always report spam posts/members but it seems the admins are MIA
  5. Printing Translucent to keep the reflective.

You can even see it reflecting in the picture..........not much else you can ask from a printed reflective sign. Solvent ink is not opaque, so the reflective properties will still behave as intended when that sample is hit by a light source.
  6. This forum is drowning in

    Thanks, now I'm hungry.
  7. Just In Shoutout to Indriani Tia for a new world record!

I guess I could give that a shot..........
  8. Just In Shoutout to Indriani Tia for a new world record!

This has be be the most spam crap posts I've ever seen in one day. Congratulations Indriani Tia for flooding everyone's feed with your garbage! Any last words before you (eventually) get booted? Admins..............any way to limit number of new threads in a time period? Have new members...
  9. Flat Bed Cutter Recommendations

Those do look really nice, and how often can you actually configure and price out equipment right on the website!? Unless the specs are wrong, I don't see any difference between the X7 and X9 other than about 20k.....? Either way, well priced machines. I'd have a look at these if and when...
  10. Suggestions Website, sales, marketing...etc

Do you mind sending me a link as well? We're using wix for our site too and would love to see how you have your site set up. Have been considering adding these options to our site. Thanks!
  11. Flat Bed Cutter Recommendations

Thanks, I've tried that. It helps sometimes but it's still frustrating that there can't be a simple drag and adjust option for where the segments are. Even Gsplot lets you do that for paneling!
  12. Flat Bed Cutter Recommendations

Also, the ability to control segments would be huge! Every RIP software has the option to control tiles, not sure why they overlooked this (especially given the lack of accuracy when cutting w/ segments) in GoProduce.
  13. Need Help VG-540 Grainy/Less detailed Quality Sticker Prints

Where it says "Media Type", try experimenting with different options. I see you're already printing with High Quality setting @ 900x900dpi - you might want to see if there are any other media types that will allow you to print at a higher resolution. I'm not familiar with that exact model...
  14. Need Help VG-540 Grainy/Less detailed Quality Sticker Prints

Nozzle check still looks decent. What profile/print settings are you using? Can you use a higher resolution/pass profile and see if the quality improves?
  15. Need a 40'x 8' and a 40'x 10' -13 ounce banner printed in Canada, does anybody have a recommendation. I live in Western Canada.

We've ordered from Process Color a couple of times before, no complaints.
  16. Flat Bed Cutter Recommendations

As an other F1612 owner, I agree 100%. Pros: With barcode workflow, you can send down full rolls of media to kiss-cut then through-cut (or any other combination) and walk away Mostly works well for kiss-cutting or through cutting vinyl, banner, coroplast etc. Works okay for routing things...
  17. Where can I donate a Mutoh Valuejet 1304?

Good to know, thanks! Time to pull that old tank apart lol.
  18. Where can I donate a Mutoh Valuejet 1304?

Do you think it's worth doing this with a 9 year old Roland XR-640? We're just about to send it off to an electronic recycling place and I'm wondering if it's worth pulling the boards.
  19. Wall Wrap with Avery Supreme Wrapping Film

Did you read the original post? They're thinking of using a solid wrapping cast film, so no printing involved.
  20. Small wrap shop ready to upgrade printer, advice

Yeah it's really well priced, even more impressive when you see how nice/fast it prints. I think you're supposed to wait at least 6 hours.....? I haven't really tested that but we'll still let prints off-gas overnight before laminating. From the brochure: Same day lamination - just 6 hours...
