That's a good start.
That isn't dot gain, that's ink being too cold/not viscous enough to cure properly.
The other part of the climate control equation will be humidity. I would suspect your area will be dry due to the forced air, so it might be a good idea to get a humidifier.
We just got...
You're going to kill that printer storing it and using it in those conditions. I'm amazed it's even firing at all.
From Roland's website:
Not operating Temperature: 41 to 104 °F (5 to 40 °C), Humidity: 20 to 80 % RH (no condensation)
During operation (*4): Temperature: 68 to 89.6 °F (20 to...
We've been happy with our UCJV. White point is really good on the white ink. Don't have gloss so can't comment on that part but it's been a good printer for us.
It's a good addition if you already have other printers. We've done lots of wall wraps and even box truck wraps with it and...
Guess I could've googled it first!
Here is how it's done in case anyone is interested: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/reports-and-accounting/where-do-i-find-the-average-transaction-amount/00/969193
Once you generate that report and export to Excel you can quickly calculate...
Anyone familiar with creating reports like this out of Quickbooks Desktop Pro?
I'm assuming I could export data into a spreadsheet and create formulas to come up with the average invoice amount and count number of invoices for the quarter/year.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with...
Good thread, Scott. It's been lots of fun finding files lately since we moved all our working files to our NAS set up.............every single "date modified" is the day I moved the files over. Not exactly the same issue but it made me realize I really need to name my files/job folders better.
Technically, we're not. But I personally don't see an issue with regular members helping out other members if/when merchant members can't/don't offer their services.
Looks awesome Gene, this must have taken some time to set up!
I'm getting errors when selecting roll media - seems to work well with rigids after some quick testing. (Says error: no match for all totals when selecting any roll media)
Sounds like fun!
I just got back from our first trip with our 16 month old son - seeing him experience Mexico, the ocean etc. was worth all the jet lag and money in the world.
I would think it's a combination of using calendared/economy vinyl/laminate and heavy ink load to the edge of the print. Your sample isn't failing (yet) because it isn't exposed to sun/heat.
For vehicle decals we always use 3M IJ180cv3 / 8518 - we've never had an issue with it.
For small...
You guys were able to print lexan roll stock on your UCJV? This was actually one of the reasons we bought ours at the time, but gave up on it as we couldn't get it to lay flat enough to avoid head strikes.
We were trying with .010 polished velvet, is that similar to what you're running...
If I had a 5x10 bed I wouldn't care about segments. The bed on the F1612 is 63" x 47" so a full sheet will usually be broken into 3 segments. Due to the fact that the cuts don't connect 100% from segment to segment, (especially when routing) being able to choose when and where it divides the...
We'll usually just laminate next day, but Epson claims only 6 hours are required.
Can print a roll in fairly high quality in 3-4 hours so you could crank out 2 rolls a day then laminate the next day.
We just added a S60600 after running Rolands for 10 years and it's a game changer. Way faster than what we're used to and quality and colors are great with proper profiling.
I've posted other reviews somewhere else here....but any specific questions just ask.
