The clear vinyl has adhesive so you just print your graphic reversed/mirrored and laminate as usual using a white laminate , you do laminate your prints, right? Exactly like making any other decal just laminated with white instead of clear.

I believe there are printers that can print directly to glass. With our Latex HP's we'll print a reverse to clear then laminate it with white. Wet apply to glass.

We do something similar. We have a dedicated pc & Print Tech for the RIP station. When we first started it didn't take long to see that that it was a pain to interrupt the Tech's mojo just to set up reg marks. Didn't take me long to figure out what parameters were needed for the cutting process...

Illustrator can open cdr's up to version 2010. What version are the Corel files?

Saving as pdf then opening in flexi or just opening the ai file? rasterize the pattern?

Probably a media feed issue. You'll never get it "dead on" but.... The longer the print the more off it's gonna be. Have you used some scrap vinyl to check and adjust the media feed?

Hmmm, you need a stone cutter or some place that would have one. As mentioned, check into a headstone business or maybe a landscaping/paver business.

Cut a stencil from "sandblast" vinyl (think it's called resist), apply it then sandblast.

Same stuff here. Luckily I have both illustrator and Acrobat Pro. Usually illustrator won't work if fonts are missing. I can open in Acrobat Pro and use "Flattener Preview", there I can "Convert All Text to Outlines", apply & save with a different name, then import to Corel.

Are the files always pdf? Might try Inkscape (free). that can do crop marks. Don't know about converting the colors though. We print both CMYK and RGB without any problems.

I have no problem with having them all in one file. Actually that's the way I do it too. If the designer was trying to simplify or cut down the file size by creating separate signs, great, but they should be just that, separate. You don't include all the signs in each separate pdf file. When...

Yes, confirmed that the design was from illustrator. I did, however, fail to mention, rather forgot, that one of the artboards was a 3ftx8ft banner which did have a lot of png images (logos). That, I'm sure, increased the file size too. Also something I would not have done. That banner should...
