Bordeaux sells through dealers so that's probably why they don't have the price on there but I agree, giving people an idea about the cost would be helpful!
Bordeaux has an aftermarket ink for the LUS170s. I don't have any customers using it yet but I'm pretty sure it's because most people are still under warranty so they haven't made the switch yet.
The official spec sheet says the metallic have a 5 year outdoor life but can be shorter depending on how vertical the surface is. If you're using any of the "brilliant" colors, they only get 3 years. However, the spec sheet does call it all cast with no mention of calendared.
The dampers can have ink in them and the head might still not be 100% filled. Since you are getting some nozzles to print, you don't have an electrical issue. How did you initially fill the system after the head was installed? Did you suck ink into the damper with a syringe or did you run an ink...
Looks like either you need a new cap top and/or the line is clogged/partially clogged from the cap top through the pump. Some nozzles are firing so you didn't pop a fuse. Ink just isn't flowing enough to fill the head completely. On an SP300 you should be able to fill the system with 1 maybe 2...
Unfortunately I don't know of anyone at the moment. They definitely exist though. I've also had minor repairs such as fixing a USB port etc. done at music equipment repair shops before. But maybe someone else on signs101 has someone they use.
Whenever an entire head stops firing it's pretty much always the fuse, transistors, or the head itself. Since the head is known to fire with the black and cyan signal, we can rule out the head. Make sure you test the fuse outside of the machine. Sometimes when they are installed they can give...
If it's not something personal in his life, in my experience, unhappy employees tend to be upset about bad pay, bad boss, or bad co-worker in that order. A lot of the time the best employee ends up getting saddled with all of the responsibilities because they are reliable but if they don't get...
Haha, I wouldn't mind trying a real Australian beer that's for sure! I had an Australian roommate in college and he went on and on about how Fosters is NOT Australian for beer lol.
In the special plate menu you can tell Rasterlink to put a white back for the whole image. The valid pixel option will put white behind any pixel that isn't clear or has no color value. The picture below shows the menu you want to be in.
You can also use Rasterlink Tools for Illustrator or...
The problem with magnetic is, is the convenience of not having to print on vinyl and then laminating it on the magnet worth a possible head crash costing $$$$ in repairs? The answer will be different depending on how much risk you're willing to take and how much you're making on the magnets. A...
In the slant adjustment, the main concern is getting the cyan and magenta dots on the same horizonal plane. Since yours are overlapping, it is correct. Post a picture of the graininess.
The official end of life for the Roland LEJ-640FT, which uses this ink, is October 2025. So, according to Roland's policy, the ink should be available until then.
The same channel not firing anything tells me that it's either completely clogged, the manifold is cracked, or it's not being pulled on by the cap top. I would take the damper off and inspect the manifold to see if it's broken or cracked. If it's in good condition, I would hook up a syringe and...
The offset setting isn't something that needs to be dialed in and is a set number depending on the blade angle. If you are using the 45 degree blade it should be set to 0.3 and if it's the 60 degree blade it should be set to 0.15. If you set it properly and it still doesn't finish corners etc...
