  1. VJ 1204 Not printing at all

There are 5 head fuses on the VJ-1204 Mainboard, marked as F1 to F5. You can find them near the side of the black heat sinks. When the head is not printing at all, usually F2 is blown but sometimes, it could be due the other fuses as well. If any fuse is blown, you may need to replace the head...
  2. Fuse 1 Error "e102" on Mutoh Rockhopper 2 - please help

The fuses might be available here: http://www.mutoh.com.au/
  3. Cleaning out pump lines on the MS

I would only use Mutoh ValueJet cleaning fluid just to be on the safe side
  4. Where's the leak?

Yes, uneven cartridge ink levels is mainly the cause of ink cross contamination on some older Mutoh printers (printing and cleaning cycles can build up enough negative pressure on a near empty ink cartridge that can cause it to suck ink from another cartridge that has plenty of ink on it when...
  5. help printer problems

This would indicate ink cross contamination. Check that you have enough ink on your yellow cartridge, then do a powerful clean. You need to get rid of the contaminated ink on your yellow ink line. Do this until you get a good clean yellow when you print the nozzle check pattern.
  6. Mutoh Falcon Outdoor 62 Undefined Paper

Looks like your machine size is incorrectly set.
  7. Can someone tell me what causes these lines?

If you are using original inks, starvation should not occur in any mode. How old are the dampers on the printer?
  8. VJ Ink not completely empty

We are obligated to use Japanese firmware. I just had a look at the Mutoh Japan website, the latest for the VJ-1604 is still v1.13, v2.0 might be from Mutoh Europe.
  9. VJ Ink not completely empty

What is the firmware version of your printer? If it is an old one, try upgrading to the latest version (1.13), hope this helps.
  10. What the heck is this?

I would only use a clean rag moistened with warm soapy water.
  11. VJ-1604 SubTankLo Error

I have seen this intermittent problem (valve not opening) and most of the time it is caused by a loose connection between the 2-way valve and the printer. What I do is I remove the valve's female connectors from their plastic housing, re-clamp them so that the male connector would make a snug...
  12. damper empty

Looks like you have an air leak somewhere in your magenta ink line
  13. toucan printer problems....I've nowhere else to turn.

Looks like the ink seal on that magenta head is broken, the printhead needs to be replaced.
