How different are the head cleaning cartridge trays between the L260 and the 360 ? (I'm wondering if the fabric roll can be transferred from a 360 to a 260?) Thanks for any thoughts.

Topaz Gigapixel AI is terrific, I find. However I often only use the 2x enlargement. It sharpens what needs preserving, blurs that which is blurry, and removes pixellation.

Which model is giving you problems? (I'm still nurturing out L260 till I use up the 25 ink cartridges I have - and I like the machine.)

My thoughts are the same as a few days ago - pull it off and redo it afresh and get it right. You won't repair it now.

Bubbles? Strip the frosting off throw it away, and do it afresh - with more experience and no bubbles this time. None. You can't leave them there to be popped. I use an application fluid with a whisker of glycerine in it that works well - slippery but not frothy.

How about removing then reinserting the 2 ink cartridges that feed the head it thinks is bad? Have you had a mouse plague? I bloke here had his L260 vacuum lines eaten into by mice - and the data cables also. I gave him spares I had.

Can you maybe be daring, and remove all six, then wait for it to ask you to reinstate them, and maybe trick it into not realising what it previously ignored.

Exactly... the per letter charge I find a bit too awkward - Umpteen rows of text are not going to change in vinyl used or wasted vinyl, if suddenly they do not need an S or an I in two words, and then request a discount... Price also depends on vinyl used - I will not use the 700 series...

Yes, 'double sided adhesive' will be a pain and a waste of effort and material and extra cost. Just print a reversed image on ordinary clear self adhesive vinyl or laminate.

Yes- working beautifully - seems the problem wasn't the HD, but the motherboard/mainboard.

Update: after removing the mainboard carefully - from the donor L260, and doing the same on the 'good but dead' L260, and plugging the old HD back in, she's working again! :) It was about a half hour careful job to take the donor one out. Then probably 15 mins to do the other one as I had no...
