  1. Screen printed sign help

We print this stuff by the skid. Very durable, but will yellow over time.
  2. new UV flatbed

Haven't seen the Roland in person, but it seems way over priced for what it is (I could be wrong). Looks like they added roller tables on both ends of their roll to roll and reduced the speed. I was completely under whelmed when they released the pictures and specs.
  3. Epson gs6000 acting like a ....

If your supplier doesn't even know what the material is, I sure as hell wouldn't put it on my printer. Stick with a reputable manufacturer and you should be ok. Like Dice says, "fire and forget".
  4. Attn Sewers: lockstitch vs. chainstitch

We are getting ready to purchase a sewing machine so that we can finish our banners in house. Our question is, which process is better: lockstitch or chainstitch? What I have gathered so far: Lockstitch: Juki LH 3578 Pros: More durable, sews monofilament thread better and can sew in...
  5. Computer power nd GS6000

This is what you need to do. When we updated our Colorburst it eliminated the pausing issues and allowed for faster printing. We eventually reverted back to the older Colorburst because of a loss of print quality. After we updated, it almost looked like we were printing in CMYK instead of...
  6. 4x8 CORO

Did you go with the FB700?
  7. Anyone using HP latex printers for wraps?

Call Advantage Sign Supply. Great company with great people.
  8. GS6000 vs. the new Seiko W-64s

The 13oz Bantex prints wonderfully as well. Its the cheapo material that you will have issues with. Better materials = better products.
  9. GS6000 vs. the new Seiko W-64s

We run colorburst and have printed tons of full rolls of 18oz bantex with out any issues. Yes it does walk a little bit, but our operator seems to know how to get through it. The thin/cheap banner material on the other hand does give us issues. Horrible head strikes and even worse ink...
  10. Summa S140-D Vs Graphtex FC8000 54"

Never used a Summa, but I regret buying the graphtec. We fight with it every time it reads registration marks. Graphtec calls it human error, but that is complete bull sh!t. You shouldn't have to turn the lights off, put tape over the registration marks and slow the speed all the way down...
  11. Hello from Signs365!

Oh and one pointer, please go back to the old website. The new one is very cumbersome.
  12. Hello from Signs365!

We have used signs 365 for flatbed corrugated and have always been happy. Great prices and great turnaround time. Definitely will use them again!
  13. Solvents

    This.
  14. Solvents

Was hoping for better than OEM specs.
  15. Solvents

The only thing I have noticed so far is fading of the green with out laminate. I have heard of others having issues with the yellow but have not experienced that first hand. Only time will tell...
  16. Solvents

Very excited to see another option of ink with GS6000. Hope these are more durable than the OEM.
  17. New to All-Over Printing

No wonder I have never heard of it. We don't print any textiles. Thanks.
  18. Solvents

I am curious to know as well. But I think I ready some where that any third party inks will void the warranty.
  19. New to All-Over Printing

What the hell is this "all over" you guys speak of. We have 5 auto presses and 1 large 50"x99" manuel press, but have no idea what "all over" is. Please enlighten me. And like others have said: this is an extremely over saturated market. If your buying screen presses, definitely buy used...
  20. Just got back from HP demo facility

We were invited by our sales rep Jim Peterson from Advantage Sign Supply to come down to Atlanta to visit the HP Demo facility. Got to Atlanta Tuesday night for an early Wednesday morning demo. I must say that they have really put a lot of time and money into this facility and it really...
