  4. Suggestions Chrome for cut vinyl truck lettering - anything new?

Avery has a chrome cut vinyl that is rated for 3 years outdoors. It's what we use because it seems to have the lowest degree of problems. But chrome vinyl is all the same. It sucks to cut and handle. It veins. It's stiff and your cutter blade will scratch it while moving from place to place. If...

PhotoPaint can do all the basic stuff. What it doesn't have is the ready access to plugins and brushes and stuff because the user base is different. My experience with starting a brand new sign shop is that it takes more like 2 or 3 years to build a clientele that can really support you. We use an Epson Surecolor S70670. Before that a Mimaki JV3. I am sure the paper works with solvent inks. It's made for it. The product is Magic Gloss Photo. 15. What do you print on when a client requests posters

Whether you print them yourself or send them out depends on the quantity. If they want 250 24x36 posters, sure, send them out. My printer charges $558 plus shipping for them. But if they want 25 of them, the same printer charges $534 plus shipping. I'm pretty sure you will find it worthwhile to...

Buy solvent print poster paper. The kind we use is 6 mil, 45# Gloss photorealistic paper. It's 34 cents a square foot, which is less than calendared print film. Prints photorealistic just like its name.

  20. I am hating CorelDraw 2020!

My argument against that is my experience that the 2019 version was perhaps the most unstable version I have ever used. On my main design computer, which has been in use for quite some time, every version since 2016 has been stable, 2019 was not, and 2020 is stable. And all those versions are...
