    YES. That's it. Thank you.
  2. Sign system ID

Trying one more time before I go and try to remove it from wall. Don't think it's Clarke.
  3. Anyone else allergic to vinyl?

My hands are torn up too. Never thought it could be vinyl. Been to doctors and haven't figured it out. This makes me wonder, never really had any problems till I started using printable material...
  4. Sign system ID

And that was one of the better ones. Some floors even had mix match fonts. Maybe pull it from the wall is an option. So much paint build up on the edges.
  5. Sign system ID

Does anyone know who makes this directory system? Pieces are 1 1/2'' x 15'' on clear acrylic painted on the face. They snap into a holder that has pre-spaced holes.
  6. Bending poly metal / dibond

I agree with the skin thickness issue. I think Compbond makes a sheet called X12(for .012 thick). Dibond is .012 thick or thicker. That ACM that is .008 thick is tricky to bend.
  7. Sewing banner hems

Thanks for all the info. I will be practicing a lot since this machine is fast.
  8. Sewing banner hems

We picked up a Consew(206) walking foot machine from one of our customers. I was wondering if anyone has a source for a hem folder for this machine? I've seen something on youtube that looks like it mounts to the machine and you run the banner through it and it folds the banner. New to sewing...
  9. New Vinyl cutter suggestions request

We have been cutting #117 stencil, sailcloth and your print and cut vinyls for years on Graphtec FC model plotters. We have a fc4100-75 that is still going strong and a larger fc7100-160. I would think Graphtec, Summa and Roland are probably all good choices.
  10. What's your "Go To" sign supply store?

    Harbor Sales, Trim USA, Grimco.
  11. Cutting Master 2

Updating now. I still use CM2 because I read somewhere ( maybe Graphtec site) that CM3 was for CS4 and up. I am still using CS3. Maybe I will download CM3 and see if it will work with CS3.
  12. Cutting Master 2

Lately I have been getting unfinished cuts and then a diagonal cut line that cuts across the print and ends at the first registration mark. I can cut one batch of prints fine and then load another batch and use the same file and this will happen. This does not happen much, but more so lately...
  13. New printer band wagon

I did not think about the Mutoh. Looks like that could be an option as well. Have you had any problems in the past? Does it band any in that wave pattern that it does? Is Fellers the only source for them? We have had no problems with our 8000, so maybe a little spoiled. I hope to have something...
  14. Substitute for Rolco Quick Size?

I was shipped the DUX brand last time I ordered Rolco. It was slightly thinner and took just a little longer to tack up, but the result was nice. This was the slow size.
  15. New printer band wagon

We are looking at the print only Roland as we already have a plotter. We are still leaning towards the solvent printers. Just a preference. Any JV150 owners. Looking at all input.
  16. New printer band wagon

Thanks for that information. Definitely need a take up reel. Was it not part of the package or was it an add on?
  17. New printer band wagon

We are looking to replace our aging HP designjet 8000 with a new printer. I am leaning towards a Seiko colorpainter w64 since it is similar to the HP8000. I am also looking at the Roland RF 640 and the JV150. Any comments pro and con to these models would be appreciated.
  18. installing font issue in Signlab 8

This is what we do drag all the fonts into the Window fonts folder after all fonts have loaded open Signlab Use the Install fonts feature to install, make sure you select all types as well as C:/ and any other drives on that system. That should install all your true type and adobe fonts.
  19. Alloy Mill Finish Aluminum - Does it need to be clear coated?

Straight to mill finish. We letters these with 3m vinyl and reflective. Just clean it real good. There is a fine oily coating that must be wiped off.
