That’s what I referred to in my original post. You can set how often it prints it’s continuous marks (I’ve chosen every 500mm). Then you get an option of having it read all the marks then cut the entire thing, read 2 marks then cut (panneling) or read 4 marks.
It cut the first two then just...
There is on the passenger side but driver side is the full 22’. I take it you’ve tried to get it to scan 2 marks and cut, scan 2 then cut etc? No joy? Funny watching it slowed all the way down for a change!
Today is the first time more new cases got reported internationally than from mainland China. I’m in the UK but there’s a good few European countries that have it now too. Thankfully we just switched supplies to one that makes their stuff in the UK. No worries here! Lol
Wondering if it’s time...
I have a summa S2 160T.
So I have a 22’ long bit vinyl for a vehicle and I’m still relatively new to the summa for large scale cuts such as this - looking for input as to what the best method is vs how I would do it.
It’s a fairly simple shape, not quite a straight line but a slight curve all...
honestly it’s mostly small stuff. My biggest grievance is that switching between wind and cut after each copy doesn’t quite work every time. Once I’ve printed a roll, hit pause. Switch to cut after each copy, load the roll then let it print. It’ll not wind and not cut after each copy. (I don’t...
Yeah I saw with the demo that the 1650 ink is more *inky*.
We got the 1640 then they released the 50 about two weeks later. Naturally we were pretty p***** off as we’d have preferred the 1650, not to mention the value of the 1640 dropped dramatically once the 1650 came out.Still, the 1640 does...
If I go to the shop and buy a tshirt then wear it 1-2 times a week for 5 months, Then it starts fading, I don’t go back to the shop and demand a new one for free, I throw that one out and buy a new one.
Canon do like to charge extra then just say they give better service. I wonder where they’ll go next with the UV gel tech. They either have to go smaller or bigger, can’t see them getting too much faster very soon lol
our tech hinted that they’re looking at making a smaller one when he was in...
5 months is a whole lot of time to wait before coming back. Fair enough after the first wash but you’ve no idea what they’ve been doing to them in the 5 months or how often they’re worn/washed. I’d be telling them to pound sand.
We don’t do DTG so also wondering if there’s any specific care...
Definitely need both. Simply put you need a laminator for laminating and a table for mounting.
I’m not saying you can’t do either with both. Just the laminator will laminate 10x faster and the table will mount 10x faster.
There aren’t any that are “free” in every sense of the word. A lot of the “free” sites aren’t for commercial use and you’ll get lawyered that way as per post #2.
even the free font sites such as dafont, 95% of those fonts are for personal use only and you need to email/contact the creator for...
Table is for mounting substrates but can be used to laminate, would only do that for small runs and there’s a lot of extra work.
I can laminate a roll of vinyl (we’ll say 50x 38” signs) in what, 15-20 mins on the roll to roll? That 20 mins wouldn’t even be your prep for cutting out the laminate...
We’re not quite at the stage of needing a flat bed cutter but are awaiting delivery of an XY cutter for roll stock. Can’t wait. Looking forward to never manually chopping a poster job ever again!
Based on the rough speed of an employee cutting posters vs the XY, this thing will be like having a...
