I went back and renamed the file with an eps extension and now it opens perfectly... I still want to know why those 2 symbols get put into files at times though...what does it mean?
I have seen this before especially when importing eps files... this file was a .ps but seems to import as either an eps or an ai, but it has these 2 letters jammed in and somehow connected to the logo. I know they don't belong there and if I try to break the graphic apart it ruins the real...
I find the cheap Avery squeegees work best for rivets as unlike the nylon versions, they wear away from pressure instead of resisting it and ripping the vinyl.... just my 2 cents
On Friday I received 5 viral emails within a 15 minute period all from different people and they were a resume all for the same person.... I open nothing anymore. The viral email attachments could seriously be a good thing for the post office, which is in serious trouble these days Can't...
I am thinking that a good calendered would have faired as well. Now the sides of the bus are a yellow sort of plastic panel and I used 3M black. A few have come in for repair work and they look very weathered as well. No real cracking like the white, but a few stress cracks here and there.
Try printing without it and see what you get. I turn it off when I am printing red and yellow together as the colours come out really nice...but if there are other colours in the file watch out cause they won't print correctly
OMG!!!! I am not a shopper!!! I buy things when I need it...The idea of lining up and fighting to get a deal has got to be about the worse scenario I can think of for me to be put in. In any case up here in Canada we now have this fake sale day...Black Friday... No holiday up...
This film is applied to the hood of a school bus that came in last week for minor fixes.... This vinyl was put on dry 4 years ago. OK I know it is on a black surface that faces upward, but a cast film should last longer.
This is what I call a cheap font!! I asked the designer to look at it as a font in wire frame and he tells me it actually looks that way...who designs a font like that? In fact the "T" is smaller than the rest of the copy....Must be done offshore and cheap... I spend 30 minutes fixing all the...
The designer is telling me this is a font. I have seen where a conversion breaks a font into pieces but not like this!! When I print the "P" that little overlap causes the background colour to show through. Now normally I would do a quick weld and get on with it, but this graphic won't work...
I am a Signlab user since it was DOS as well... I have Flexi and Gerber Omega as well.
If I were to start all over again I would definitely learn Illy and Signlab so that I had the best of what each offers me.
So many files we get are designed in Illustrator and Signlab can't handle...
I pay $50 for a 1/2 litre bottle of Bestjet...that is a pretty large savings and since switching over I have never needed to run print adjustments. I can't tell for sure but I do think that this particular brand of ink is a little more gummy and needs slightly more cleaning than OEM ink.
Mine is purely mechanical and I suspect because the black ink had drained out, somehow it has made a mess inside that area that I cant seem to find. This morning I fired it up and the wiper moved out fine...Maybe it was the gunk on the underside of the rail that is not visible. I will say...
