My jv3 130spII although getting on in age (8 years) still prints good and I have kept up the maintenance quite well, or so my technician tells me. I had an issue a few weeks back with my black ink, and somehow 2 bottles were drained completely dry and I called him in to syphon the lines and get...
I had to try and get a bright orange for a fleet of vehicles and the best I could do was to do a double hit with a softer orange. The final orange was pretty brilliant...so on top of that I also had to find a way to match a blue as well running a double hit. Due to having to print quite a bit...
Maxmedia in Markham, ON has them...and no flushing of lines and I honestly think my machine prints better than it did with OEM. never seem to run print adjustments anymore
Oh I see...I understand... I use Jetbest which have 500ml bottles that you suspend upside down on top of refillable cartridges that bestjet supplies. Same basic pricing for ink, but all I do is pop a new bottle onto the cartridge and never run out of ink.
OK guys...I have what might be the most tedious frost job and I will need to cut quite a bit of it, and don't want to sit for endless hours fighting the weeding process...basically it is a pattern of something like 1" v's one upright the next upside down continuously and row after row of...
I figure if a decal can sit on the hood of a car and resist the heat of the sun than that would be considered heat resistant? If I laminate the decal would that be chemical resistant?
I remember our washing machine finally went and we bought a new Whirlpool front loader...My wife nagged me about getting the matching dryer, if for no other reason that they looked good together. I of course said no...who goes in the laundry room anyways... 3 months later the dryer is on the...
I have seen this before and today a client asked why the "I"'s and the "l"'s looked odd. I opened the file and you see these 2 letters much bolder than everything else...I also noticed if you zoom in they look correct. Any reason for this?
I don't exactly agree with that Bob, Weeding can be very time consuming especially with complex cuts or just plain nasty laminate that does not like to be cut....and of course the time to set it up in the cutter and get the optical reader to see everything correctly....
Sq footage pricing is fine for print, but what happens when you throw cutting into the mix? Not only the time to cut the actual decals but weeding and then cutting them all down... Up until now I have been winging it but never had a real formula for doing this. What do you guys do for...
Maybe this is the problem, but when I took off the panel farthest from the control panel the sensor in there has 2 diodes on it one green and one orange. When I placed the piece of paper in the way the sensor changed to the orange color, so I guess the sensor is working...however the green...
I took off both sides and slid a piece of paper in the way of the sensor and it changes colour on the unit from green to orange so I can only guess that is not the problem... but I don't get a green light on the control panel where the eye graphic is, so maybe it is..who knows...waiting for a...
Seal 54 el - I was laminating some vinyl to coroplast and it was running OK and then at the end of one board it suddenly stopped like something was blocking the electric eye. I ran the foot pedal to finish the last few inches.
Put in the next sheet and no way no how will the forward button...
OK so if I buy a 15" engineering grade reflective from ND graphics for a 12" x 18" park sign...would it be ok to use a 3ml clear lam on the graphics or do I need to use a cast laminate? I am more concerned with shrinkage rates and not sure if reflective even shrinks at all
