  1. S80600 grey turning brown

Then it sounds like something in your RIP has changed. Onyx can be a PITA every now and then.
  2. S80600 grey turning brown

So, this file always prints "incorrectly", but do the other files you've created using this same pattern also do this same thing now? One really weird thing I have to look out for in Illustrator is different color setting in documents/versions. Like you can open an older file, make changes...

  4. Living Wall Sign?

Not the best photos, but everything turned out awesome. We pin mounted the letters and welded the pins to rails (painted black). Hung the whole thing (around 2 pounds) by thin black wire off of 2 hooks at the top. We added adjustable legs to the back so that we could get it to sit flat with the...
  5. Need Help Need help selecting laminator used only for applying transfer tape

For applying rolls of app tape to rolls of vinyl I really like the GBC Arctic Titan laminator. We have one that has done probably 50,000 rolls of mask. Really, any laminator works for this, but simpler actually is better for app tape.
  6. template for acrylic letter

We use GerberMask here since we always have it in stock. Some customer's walls are always painted poorly so be sure to use as low of tack vinyl as possible unless you want to deal with paint pulling off. We have our own router so we always make our own patterns for letters/studs.
  7. template for acrylic letter

Do an offset path to your original art of about 1/8". Then reverse cut and weed the letters out of cheap low tack vinyl. Apply that to the wall, install the letters and remove the template. Easy peasy.
  8. clear vinyl on brick

What are you printing on it?
  9. How to do this?

Removal is going to be its own project. Then, re-creation of something similar is going to be its own project. Making stripes similar and applying them shouldn't really be hard. Use a straight on photo and good measurements and it should go smoothly. Hints: make them at least 1" larger than...
  10. What kind of vinyl this could be?

Contact your vinyl distributor (Like Grimco/Fellers) and they should be able to tell you who your local 3M rep is. I've put IJ35c on a few cheaper customers' vehicles in the past without issues, not full wraps, but print/cut graphics.
  11. Wanted WTB Epson s30/S50/S70 accessories

Yes, you can just insert a cleaning cartridge into those slots. We've never needed the silver ink so we just keep a cleaning cart in its spot.
  12. Edmonton Plotter Repair

Does the Plotter Doctor work on them?
  13. Velvet textured polycarbonate decals

Shoot me a PM with a photo of the end product/adhesive setup. I'm not 100% with you on the "selective adhesive" product, but I think it wouldn't be that hard to figure out. I've got an idea how its done already but would have to see photos or a physical sample to be totally sure. We make a...

  15. Need Help font request, scripty

Any help with this one? Can't figure it out and the customer doesn't know.
  16. Humvee Lettering

Paint mask stencils and paint the logos on if he wants them to hold up over time. You could use a vinyl like Arlon DPF8000 and it might hold up but also might come off at a car wash.
  17. laminating issues - Boat Waking

I have to agree with them. I've only seen a couple parts actually just break on a laminator after long term heavy use, otherwise every lamination issue always comes back to operator error. Some laminators are way over-complicated and some operators are way under-brained.
  18. JV3-130 SP II

Did you read the replies above? The print heads are all 100% damaged and will NOT be repairable. They all need replaced and cost about $1000 each (around $5000 total), not counting labor. We had trouble selling the same machine (in better shape) for $1000 a couple years ago with all good...
  19. laminating issues - Boat Waking

Too much roller pressure is where I see this. Usually loosening the rollers to proper pressure fixes it.
