    The cable is part# DF-41461, MSRP $69, should be fairly easy to replace you will need to remove the panel and drop the electrical box underneath. Remove the old one and install the new.

    It is a normal PCMCIA card with the firmware already on it. We used to get these from Mutoh Europe, but they are no longer available. I think we have one or two left, but they no longer go out without a tech, too many never came back.

    Firmware is upgradable only with a PCMCIA card. You will need a Mutoh tech to install it or you will need to find someone who will lend you a card. Mutoh no longer lends these cards out.

    That can be a bad power, bad main board or not the correct firmware for printer. Have you contacted your dealer to insure you have the proper firmware for your printer serial #? Some of these are OEM printers with their own firmware.
