Refl and trans need more color of course to avoid looking washed out. I
understand that you can profile for the media- but that would be different,
right? Maybe I am having a senior moment but I think I have been approaching this wrong. I am suddenly very confused. Thanks Gene
I know that...
I have a VP Roland and i1 and use Triangle inx- I have profiled but it is
a long procedure and I do not have the time to spend on it. I use Versa
works as a rip and also have Wasatch that I do not at this time. I am
looking to step up to an XC540 and may go back to Wasatch at that time-
so...
I just bought 5 wheels from Grimco which are a different color and we
went thru 3 on one cargo van where we normally get a van to each
wheel. This is the twelfth identical van we have done- same guy on
the same Vinyl Zapper. I called the mfgr and the old ones were made in
Taiwan and the new...
I am looking at at an XC540 which prints at 150sf per hour at 720x720 and I can't find what the Roland claimed for the VP540 at that (or any other)
rez. Wondering if anyone has that info. Thanks Gene
I know- the subscription is not popular, etc. - but is the program better?
I often repeat jobs and am having problems finding old files that I want
to copy. I have v2.0 and I like it but the customer handling has never
excited me. We have 3500 estimate/invoices and it is getting unwieldy...
I normally cut my laminated prints on my VP but we are getting busier
and busier (also haven't been able to find a used VP300) so I am thinking
about cutting the 30" output on one of my Summa t-750s, I think I have
seen something about this in the Vworks manual but I can't find it. Is
anyone...
I am thinking of replacing my old swingarm paper cutter with a 'stack'
cutter like the one in the pict. I cut decals into long strips with a razor
knife and stack them and cut into individuals. It looks like it might be
hard to line up the cuts as the blade is enclosed. Anyone have one...
I have Estimate v2 and have 2500 files in it. I have just about gotten over
my issues with them going to a subscription model- and we are finally
making some money and I am thinking about going to EM 2011. Any comments on how you like the improvements in the real world? I know
that there is a...
I have tried this on WTF and it came up with Blue Highway- which is the
closest I could come up with before I tried WTF- and it is not quite right (the
'3' especially.
I have been messing with this on and off for a couple days- I have a
couple hundred unit #s to do and would buy the font if...
I check only *very* sporadically and only if I am actively perusing an urge.
I would like to see them appear in the new posts search- when new of course. Thanks Gene
I have used Flexi pro since V4 I think and I love it and it has made me
a lot of money. I now use a couple of seats of 7.6 to design and Vworks
to rip and have thought of one seat of Designer 10. I am interested in
the transparency features of V10- would anyone give their thoughts on
that. I...
Does anyone use one of these- looks way better than a normal paper
cutter- I think the blade cuts parallel to the paper? I have an old hyd
paper cutter from the '40s or '50s that cuts like this (weighs about 1000#)
that works great for plastics etc but is s l o w. If it cuts parallel and you...
I have F7.6 and sometimes when printing to my desktop printer the
bitmaps are not as on the screen- is there a workaround and has this
ever been corrected in later versions? Sometimes an outline that has
not been separated will change to another color in an .eps or jpg also.
I have been doing a logo supplied by a customer for years on my edge
( running another $400 worth of Hardhat decals now :loveya:) and it
got me to wondering how I could extract the Gerber halftone for use
on my VP540. This halftone prints on light gold 220 and sometimes I have
to scale it...
