    I got my first Gerber 4A in early 1985. Serial # 5646..I still use it occasionaly for cutting Scotchlite and sandblast rubber and for making pounce patterns. I have it set up with a Cadlink Fastboard which allows it to run through signlab.Fonts at that time were $500.

  19. Kerning gone weird!!

    I have a job set up and one word in it goes weird when sent to cut file. I node edited most of the copy and just one word "Motel" when sent to the cutfile tightens the kerning but says the lenght is as stated on the job and then cuts WYSIWYG from the cutfile???     Can anyone put a name to the font used in the word "Fruit". The guy told me it was just painted by a signwriter, but he had the same logo embroidered on his shirt and his business card was identical. By the way, I think it is ugly but we won't go there!!:design:
