well it must have been that low cyan cartridge preventing the wiper from doing its job. I swapped out cartridges and ran a 1 minute nozzle wash just so it would wipe the heads and my black is back.
This may be the culprit as 1 of my cyan cartridges is low and because it is a little slow at this time of year it has been this way for about a week now. Is there a way to force the machine to wipe?
Jv3 130 spII - I usually see this issue with the yellow head and a good nozzle wash seems to clean it out. Yesterday I remembered that last Friday I did not perform my weekly nozzle wash so decided to do it yesterday. I ran it for an hour. I did print yesterday with no issues with any of the...
Needed a red decal with yellow copy. Turned color correction off made my yellow 100% yellow and the red 100% yellow and magenta, and it printed the best red I have ever seen out of this printer......yeee hawwww.
Tried it once before I had a decent laminator, and the cloudiness took 3 weeks to go away.... If you have a lot of dark colors in the print I wouldn't do it
I have done this on more than one occassion.... I am working on a sign and something happens and a letter gets ruined. I come back upstairs and load more vinyl, find the letter or graphic and cut it. I then take it out head back downstairs and put it on the work table...then the multi tasking...
In the past before I owned a digital printer I would have car decals done by my screen printer. I know they use sheeted vinyl and I also know that it was calendered with no laminate. They could last quite a long time 5 years plus with little deterioration of the vinyl itself. I can't say that...
The telecom industry much like the tobacco industry will try and deflect concern about harmful radiation given out by these devices... . Probably by about 2020 there will be a surge of cancer related issues due to cell phones and those that jam them up to their ears for countless hours.

I posted this here as I am not sure if it is software related or just bad files.
I can view the file if I double click on it from the desktop, but if I try and import it into Signlab, the program shuts down immediately. I have seen this before. i tried opening it in Flexi and I get an error...
sometimes they need tariff codes for different products....try getting those for your chinese banner material!!! I have even received calls from customers who need tariff codes on retractable banner stands....
I have tried calling several govt agencies but can't seem to get a consistant answer...
OK so yes I am taking it to a sister plant...but it is not their responsibility to fill out forms and document the shipment. So far I have found out I need to have a packing slip and a detailed invoice included in the shipment. That sounds to easy, but I will continue to investigate.

I have 14 48" x 76" alumapanel boards with digital print and Paper holders attached. Before i took the job on I told the American customer that I could not ship these as the cost using UPS or Purolator would be enormous and they would be damaged in shipping. They said they have a sister company...
These guys are a large company that do lots of display printing so I have to think this is the best black they can achieve. I know if it were me I would definately let customers know what they can expect before getting into this sort of situation.
I had a customer who wanted a feather outdoor banner and I had it done by a local supplier. We were printing a solid black with minimal white knowckouts.
The banner and hardware arrived and I opened it up to check it out and I can only describe the colour black as a form of light navy blue...
