Not vhb...just your stanfdard 1/8" thick foam tape. The fishing line is a good idea thanks. If I have to use rapid remover..so be it.... That stuff sickens me....we call it agent orange around here... uggg
To make a long story short...the customer screwed up and now I have to save his azz so I can continue to do work for this very large customer.
I have petG paper holders on an info board and I need to take them off as the double sided tape is to wide and making slipping paper in to hard. I...
I have tried oversize, but how do you know if it is aligned straight? is there a trick? I have also seen wherby I think it is lined up, but somewhere between starting and finishing, it has shifted as much as 1/8 or 1.4". hardly noticeable but I am anal
Thanks to the member that showed that you can cut alaumapanel with a heavy duty knife and snap it....what a time saver and love the fact that the shop floor stays a lot cleaner without all the black inners from the alumapanel tracking around everywhere.
So now , I was just wondering how many of...
Up here in Canada Rogers Communications, decided to put us on email billing...One problem though...the dumb azzes never sent us a bill for 2 months and we didn't realize it, then try to charge interest. I have my Cable with them, High speed internet, Home phone, and 3 cell phones.... I go...
Odd that this thread raised it's head today, as I am working on these EMS vehicles. I used 3M vehicle grade and that in itself doing striping is taking far to long. I am so careful with reflective as I don't want to re-cut or God forbid have to take any off. I am not using the 3M comply but the...

this should work and if not try covering the area of the mark with a matte clear then the black square over it. I know the frustration of that damn Opus

I have a d140 and use a Mimaki printer. One of the most frustrating issues I have had over the years is that the opus reader has trouble detecting the little squares. I have found that certain laminates really need to be worked to get a good read. By worked, I have found that rubbing the squares...

no I have seen this many times over the years, but never have figured out why it happens. I cleaned the heads as well and still does it. It might be a bad foil where the lower edge may be trying to curl up. but too hard to figure out.
warning...dont hit the reply to thread after you have replied to thread...it erases everything...doh
anyways it is odd that it did this on and off throughout that job, but not at all when i switched to yellow refective
Take a look at this photo. It is occuring just along the bottom "0"'s only. I just cleaned the head and it is still doing it. Duracoat cartridges.
Any idea how to stop this?
I have had one (similar) for about 5 years...It's amazing how it cleans up those sharp holes you drill and can even be used to get the sharpness off the edges of aluminum and alupanel
