I would try printing with a different machine/ink if your prints are scratching. You could try a very light spray coat of liquid laminate since this is phototex.

Not a laser product, you need a router/engraver to do signs like this. It routs out the brushed aluminum showing the black plastic behind it.

Maybe buy a magnetic dry erase board and sheet that with vinyl?

Yes it would work ok, especially if you laminated it first.

Too much optimizer, there are other threads on here with the same issue. The newer model supposedly does it more than the 360 does.

Sounds like too much pressure to me also, back off a bit on the pressure, I like it just barely snug.
