  1. Long term customer needed some plaques for tomorrow morning in short notice

I like it a lot... but not sure what I am looking at (I have a laser too)? You cut a white surface panel, a black center panel and then a white rear panel with a keyhole slot? So the black was cutout to allow a screw head? And then the print was applied first surface? Thanks Gene

  4. Do you like your profession?

We started 20+ years ago with computer knowledge but never having been in a sign shop. Talked to Sign-a-rama, they showed me 8-10 shops and let me talk to the managers... and I thought, I can do this... so we [my daughter and I] did. My first task, after learning Flexi, was teaching her to...

  8. Anyone have a GCC LaserPro?

By the by- the 10,000 hours is not burn time, we have determined that is is time from manufacture- even if not used. That said, for the price of a US tube (or recharge) you can buy a lot of glass tubes. Gene
  9. Anyone have a GCC LaserPro?

Glass tube indicates Chicom manufacture, tread lightly- there are terrible and there are good mfgrs. Gcc appears to be Taiwanese, if you are not familiar with the technology you might want to try a N. American company which imports chinese lasers and actually support them. Gene

  12. Dirt cheap vinyl for throwaway stencils

Yes it does- been using it for 20 years. Most brands have it and it is pretty inexpensive and thicker than cast. A stencil is re-usable and requires a stencil stye font so the centers do not drop out. Gene
