For anyone interested, the .txt files are very convenient back-ups. I can open it in wordpad & they are sorted by mailbox, so if you create new boxes in your S101 account, the backup .txt files remain sorted, and include sender name & time & date stamps. The code for any formatting or smileys...

or dl a .txt file & save your paper trail, while still emptying the box...

I think maybe it's kinda like not getting pulled over until you are driving 10 miles over the limit... makes it seem like 9 was ok... but after your ticket, ya gotta go the limit for a while...

Bob, it might be simple in it's elegant visual impression, but certainly not it it's execution. The attachment method is very impressive as others have noted, as are the top finials. I'd be interested in a bit more detail on the slot & back screw approach. I'm guessing a "tab" of PVC that is...

I think most of us who contribute designs to design topics are enjoying making a contribution to the learning process. I also think someone using the results without permission would be as unlikely, as it is un-enforcable.

I think grampa Dan is such a great title for you dan... while we are about the same age, you remind me of my own grampa in one important way. My grandfather (the one I was fortunate enough to know well) was the most ethical gentleman & if he were watching me through life... many better choices...

two thoughts come to mind... a slide show of numerous photos might tell the story very well, and require little to know learning curve on the presentation... plus you control when you think it's worth putting down the chisel & taking another pic (on a timer... after you pick up the chisel...
