  5. Best way to attach something to banner like material cart

Why not just cut some letters out of the vinyls you are considering (or even just some squares) and go out there and stick them on. Go back a few days or a week later and see how they fared. That will work better than any online speculation.

Arlon DPF8000 will work on that. If they've bought the vinyl ones.
  9. Printer choice

Your RIP manufacturer should have them. We use Onyx, and we mostly use the ones we got from the Onyx profile downloader, though I have made a couple that I use. In particular, we use a CMYKlclm only profile for outdoor banners and signs to avoid the fading issue with the orange ink.

  12. Cluster ....

  13. Optically clear cast laminate vs regular cast laminate

The Avery optically clear laminate that is bundled with MPI1105 is vinyl. No fear of getting polyester. We use the optically clear DOL1360Z as our standard for the very reason stated above--we don't have to stock a different laminate for window wraps. It is thinner (1.3 mil) than their DOL1060Z...
  14. Cluster ....

Hmmm. Maybe the company that hired you to install just does design and doesn't actually manufacture anything. Then they just sit at their desk and watch the money roll in.
  15. Cluster ....

A 4x8 of 3/16" polycarbonate is $225, so that's $450 to the customer. But you only net $225 of it. The time it takes to retrieve the faces, remove the vinyl and clean them, and put them back up is all charged to the customer. But you didn't have to buy a piece of polycarbonate to do it or put...
  16. Wholesaler Needed for DTG items

Speaking of DTG, has anybody found a wholesaler that makes DTG that looks any good? I've tried a few, and they just don't turn out the way they should (and the printing doesn't last).

Normally street sign posts are just driven into the ground. If you have to put a sleeve in practically flush with ground level, you'd be using a sledge hammer.
  19. FADE with Dots/circles in Flexi

The tool is simple in Corel Draw. The video may have confused you because its subject was ways to use transparency, and pointillizer was only incidental. To make your dot gradient, you just create an object, fill it with a fountain fill that goes from color to transparent. Then use the...
