Is there a proper method for creating a dreamy/hazy look around the edges of a photo in Photoshop. I have never learned this technique before and don't know where to begin. Or is there a filter or plug-in that will accomplish this effect ?

In XP, I use to be able place a modified psicon.dll and aiicon.dll in the shell directory of the adobe suite and that would make AI, PSD and EPS thumbnails visible in windows explorer view without using any additional software. It seems that this feature or tweak does not work with Windows...

So I just finished loading Adobe CS4 Design Premium onto my NEW computer with 64-bit OS Windows 7. Surprisingly, Photoshop x64 crashes before it ever opens, but the x32 opens without a hitch. Anyone else experience this ? Any advise or suggestions ?

Can I load a windows operating system on a hard-drive and then expect that that hard-drive could be installed into a tower and function properly ? Or does the operating system have to be installed on a hard-drive that resides in a tower so the the operating system can identify peripherals...
