3M IJ680CR, the best reflective there is, but you pay for it. It is all we use here for printing.

GFP 563th, with heat assist, but I usually leave the temp right around 110 degrees. Runs smooth as silk.

There is no home button. We put a notch in the roll clamp (or was that a factory notch?) and put a dot there with a fine point sharpie whenever doing multi-color runs on our Edge Classic.

There is bi-directional calibration tests you can run to get it printing better. Our old Mimaki tech fixed ours in a half hour or so last time we had a problem.

I have to agree with this user. We ran two JV3s here for 10 years, then our workload increased so much that even running both machines around the clock wasn't enough. We built a special "degassing" box to speed up production time also so that within 12 hours we were able to laminate after...

I have sprayed automotive clear coat over top of prints that were already installed on substrates. I wouldn't think it would work well to paint vinyl and then try to install it, as you'd get cracking, etc as you stretch/bend the print.

Print it as close as you can to color, some printers can add metallic to the ink or you can use a metallic over-laminate, but it wont be optically clear. Make sure they understand the ONLY way to make it an exact match, is to have it painted.

CheetahWraps (fellers) will sell it by the yard. get a hold of your local Avery supplier salesperson (grimco/fellers) and see what they can do for you.

We use a lot of Real Gold's products here and they are quality products. Worlds different from the quality of VINYLefx material which we also use a lot of.
