If they are anything like the FC7000 machines in build quality, I have seen them last 10+ years with good care. Of course it depends highly on how much you use it.

That's the pinch roller sensor and it's installed on the back of the cut carriage. It measures the position of the rollers which is why you are getting that error. I'd contact Denco or Midwest for the part.

If you look at the mesh in the filter through a loupe, the OEM ones look like a sheet of metal with perfect microscopic circles poked through where the after market ones will look more like fabric. Also the after market ones tend to have sticky valves so they don't open properly when needed...

The official name is, "Serge Mist Filter". I usually just call it a flushing or spittoon sponge.

Those after market dampers can be problematic. We have the OEM ones for $39.95. I never flush a head before installing it and I have been installing head for over 10 years. Dampers should be about half full.

Have you run any cleaning cycles? Is ink flowing when you do a cleaning cycle?

On that machine you should be able to just take the cartridge out and put it back in which will reset the ink level to 100%. That being said, if your ink level sensor is out of wack it could just be triggering early. Take a flashlight and look inside each cartridge holder. See if anything looks...

It's probably a bad damper. I would start there and change the o-rings out as well. Also, the maintenance station doesn't have any adjustments. If the screws all fit when you installed it, it should be in the proper position. You do want to make sure the head is in low mode when running...

I use a soft tube that is used in the pumps. Mostly you just want it to clean if you aren't using the damper. Also be careful when pushing the solution through. The tube can pop off and it tends to go straight into your eye! I learned the hard way.

Yeah the official way is through the damper but honestly I always just hook the syringe directly up to the manifold. Push lightly until you see the solution bubbling out and then push a little harder and you should see solution spray out of each nozzle clearly. Just know that there is always a...

When running a cleaning cycle you should see the dampers crush and a lot of the time you can actually hear it if it's quite in the room. Also, the pump can still make noise and be bad. The fact that solution flowed through it is a good sign that it's working. I would probably change the cap top...

Usually it's a bad cable or a cable is crooked. Also check for any liquid around the area as ink tends to fly through the air on that machine and if the filter is bad, it can get into the boards. As far as the F3 fuse goes, it looks like it connects to the IO board which would be the head...

Check all of the cables and make sure they are plugged in straight. Something is blowing the F3 fuse. You should be able to just change the fuse and not the whole board though.
