We do a lot of jobs with both printing and with cut vinyl. The choice of media depends on the application and the desired results. If you are having all kinds of problems with mistakes weeding or it takes you a long time, I suggest you improve your skills rather than complaining about the jobs...
This. Except that we use Avery optically clear laminate on our Clear Focus 50/50. Our neighbor is a glass shop that we did a truck window this way six years ago and it still looks good. I change the one on my truck about every 2-3 years, and it still looks great when I take it off. But I like to...
Putting the numbers on an airplane or helicopter is a simple job (except for the ladders/walkboard if it's a tall plane). Just use high performance cast vinyl. Even for the silver with a black shadow. I cannot believe how the advent of printers has so seriously dumbed down the sign industry. All...
There would be some peace of mind in that, but in my case, I can see where the first head or two they would probably say wasn't covered because the problem with the ink had not yet been identified.
We used third party inks in a Mimaki JV3, after having stuck with OEM for a couple of years past the warranty. We enjoyed the lower price, and with the particular supplier we used the conversion was simple--the inks were compatible with the OEM so we didn't have to throw out all our ink and...

If you cannot get the ,080 aluminum already painted black from your supplier, you can also do a...
Go to your local steel fabrication shop. This is meant to be made from flat 3/4 x 1/8 stock, cut and bent into the shapes and welded at the apices. You might have to provide a 1:1 scale paper drawing as a template for them, as well as possibly making round forms for them to bend the steel around...
Because the curve of the ball is symmetric, a single line of copy will look straight and not curve if applied along the longitude (like the seams) of the ball. Just have to be smart about not having too may long lines of copy that will end up converging at the poles.
I defy you to put on a cast unlaminated vinyl bumper sticker without application tape and not get it all stretched and wonky. And no, bumper stickers don't get application tape.
Calendared is definitely the way to go, for price and stiffness. And thicker is better. Consider also looking for...
We've always used Stouse Cad Color Express Print for cotton-based fabrics and Specialty Products CPS-2160 for sublimated fabrics. Stouse Cad Color Sublistop also. Never had ink come off like that.
I take one thing back. If you are using the downloaded version of Corel Draw, and don't have the DVD, Font Manager is where you can download all the fonts that come with Corel Draw.
